We stayed for just two nights and found the St Regis to be perfect for a short stay as we could walk to major attractions and it was very comfortable to relax after a busy day around town. The rooms were attractive and clean with wifi and lovely amenities. Breakfast was included and very generous with lovely fresh fruit and...

This hotel has lots going for it but smells like a sewer. First room 407 smelled terrible so I had them move me. Second room 107 started out ok but by day 3 also smelled like sewer. No idea what is going on. The front desk says they have an ozone machine to deal with the smell... But what is...

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at the St. Regis Hotel. We understand how distressing this unpleasant smell must have been for you. This complaint was something rather unprecedented for us and was taken very seriously, indeed. Upon reading your review, we inspected the rooms in question and could not smell anything that would cause...

During our trip throughout Canada, this would have to be the best value hotel we stayed in, It includes many extras which made the stay that little bit better. Free international phone calls, free Wi-Fi, complimentary water bottles each day, Great breakfast made to order from a good range of choices. Service was really good. Standard of bedroom and bathroom...

The staff at the St,Regis hotel were exemplary. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Interesting breakfast included in price. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, lovely toiletries, enviromentally aware in all things. Spotless and clean and just the right size for those who dislike huge complexes of hotels. Only 5 floors. Charming! Very helpful organising tours and transportation....

This St. Regis hotel is not like other St. Regis hotels elsewhere. It's smaller, and it's not a 5 star hotel. The location is great, close to the subway. The breakfast is not the buffet style, instead, it's made by order, very tasty, and it's included. The down side was that our room had a very bad pluming smell. We...

You will find the St Regis easily accessible to all public transportation and walkable to the downtown area. We loved the vibe of the hotel, clean, modern rooms with all amenities and very comfortable beds. Great breakfast made to order is included. Lovely shower, good sized bathroom with everything you need. I appreciate all the extra details and amenities included....

We had a group of 4 couples after a wonderful Alaska Cruise on Oceania, so we were accustomed to being well cared for. The St. Regis was great. We liked the decor. The rooms were sizable, with free wi-fi and lots of electronic outlets for whatever device you might want to plug in. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are...

Stayed at the St. Regis four nights in early May. Check-in was quick and easy. Rooms were clean and well kept. Keep in mind that the rooms are a bit smaller than your typical North American hotel, but still very nice and cozy. Some rooms only have the glass shower, so if you require a bathtub you'll need to request...

This is a fabulous little hotel in central Vancouver. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are extremely well appointed (although could benefit from plugs next to the bed....a trick missed by a lot of hotels!) and really, really comfortable. They have a lot of added (and free) extras for such a central hotel, i.e. water, internet, phone...

Have stayed at the St. Regis a few times now. Great place to stay right downtown Vancouver. Convenient to transit and every place you wish to see downtown. The employees are great, always pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast is great and the pub is a great place to grab lunch or dinner (service is very prompt if you are on...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

“We got to the hotel really early since our ship got in at 8 .am. We were offered the Exec Suite for $90 Canadian extra and we could have checked in when we got there (about 10 a.m.) If I had it to do all over again, I would have taken the up sell. ”
