The hosts were lovely; conversational and wanted to ensure we had all we needed. Provided suggestions and information we needed. Room was clean and large. Bed was comfortable, and breakfast was amazing.

My husband and I had stayed at the Point Grey Guest House for 2 nights and we wished we had booked to stay longer than that! Jeanette and John - Innkeepers for the Point Grey Guest House whilst Georgia and Hugh were away - were the most gracious of hosts. They just made us feel so very welcome - giving...

Hello, and thank you so much for this wonderful review. Please accept my apology for not replying to you earlier. Somehow this disappeared on me, possibly in the transition of readjusting to returning home. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with Jeanette & John. I would agree that they are wonderful and gracious hosts and we...

Once again we had a great experience at the Point Grey Guest House. Even though Hugh and Georgia were on vacation (everyone needs to get away) we were in great hands with Jeanette. Thanks Jeanette for looking after us so well. We stayed in a different room (Albion) this time and it accommodated our needs very well. Great location in...

Our welcome was very cool from Jeanette who seemed to prefer being in the background. However, John was the opposite and spent the whole of breakfast talking. The room was clean but the road noise was deafening and made sleeping difficult. The staircase was steep and with the glass door at the bottom it was rather worrying carrying heavy cases...

We spent 3 nights here on our Canadian tour. We received a warm welcome from Jeanette & John who were caretaking the guest house while Georgia and Hugh were on holiday. The house was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The house is a short drive away from the main town, so the location is...

My friend and I absolutely loved this b&b. It had easy parking access and it was a great location for getting to sites and you can't dismiss the area and home for some tranquil relaxation within the city. The breakfast we had each morning was fresh and delicious. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable during our three night stay. I...

My wife and I are a retired couple who enjoy spending 3 or 4 days in Vancouver every year or two. Point Grey Guesthouse has been our "go-to" location for comfortable, clean, elegant accommodation in Vancouver on multiple occasions over the past 8 years. Georgia and Hugh are wonderful welcoming hosts who clearly take great pride in running an immaculate...

Great guest home located in a quiet neighborhood and easy drive from the airport. Stayed on main floor and shared a bath. Room was very clean and bed was perfect. Kind hosts. I chose my breakfast time which allowed me time to prepare for my day. Breakfast was ample, fresh fruit, muffin and eggs etc. Great coffee! Parking on street...

We recently stayed in our first Bed and Breakfast on a visit to Vancouver and we truly found a home away from home. Hugh and Georgia are truly wonderful hosts in every way. This place is located close enough to Granville Island, Stanley Park and downtown. We had a car rental but apparently the Bus service is excellent too! We picked this B&B for the price, did not want to pay $300 to stay downtown Vancouver. We were pleasantly surprised how private and quiet it was! All three rooms were booked, and had...

Staying in West Point Grey

Neighbourhood Profile
West Point Grey
West Point Grey is one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods, especially known for its easygoing and admired beachfronts. Locals crowd the Spanish Banks and Jericho Beach, especially in the summer, where a sprawling view of the English Bay awaits. The central village is an oasis of sovereign shops, many of them in local operation for years. The neighbourhood has a more personal feeling to it, and can be a wonderful and much-needed break from the bustle of big-city life, being a little haven of peace and quiet with an almost village temperament in the heart of Vancouver.
