Coffee machine in the room, comfortable bed, bikes available for hire, friendly atmosphere - would recommend as a slightly cheaper alternative to some hotels in Vancouver. Great location - walking distance to lots of restaurants, cinema, buses, but not too loud.

Walked in at 4:30 in the morning woke up at 8. I experience very little 9f the services offered seeing as I was barely there. I did have a minor conflict with security when I tried to get back to my room at 4:30 in the morning. the main doors were locked and the security assumed that I was looking...

Here's what I liked about the Burrard: 1. Comfortable bed 2. Shower temperature and pressure both great 3. On site secure parking (extra $) 4. Complimentary fitness passes to local gym Here's what was underwhelming: 5. The rooms are just dressed up motel rooms and small 6. Our room had a lingering cigarette odour But overall a good stay and...

Spent 4 nights at The Burrard. The place is clean with comfy beds. It is right downtown and has a delightful little coffee shop below. Not sure that I will stay again tho because the walls are super thin. While some people might be into listening to the neighbours having sex, totally not my thing. Also a couple nights there...

Helpful and friendly staff. The hotel room and facilities are good and very clean. Location is good, around 10 min walk to train, close to many bus stops and town. Good value of price! Will stay here again in Vancouver!

Love this Hotel. Will always be first on my list when staying in Vancouver. Love the cheeriness of the rooms and oh so clean. The staff is incredibly accommodating. The friendliest I have experienced in a long time.

I always wanted to check this place out so when we had a quick overnight in Van we stayed there with our kids. Loved the open courtyard and the rooms were very comfy. We stayed during snowpocolypse so we didn't enjoy the courtyard or free bikes, but did use the umbrellas! The beds were comfy and had an amazing latte...

Convenient location with clean rooms. Hotel was chic and allowed pets. There is a yard which could be used for socialization during fine weather. Bed and bathroom were a bit small but still acceptable for us especially for the price we paid

Stayed here for one night after driving up from Seattle to see a concert at the Vogue Theater. The vibe is funky -- it's a converted old motel that plays up its retro cool with nice, modern touches. No, it's not the Ritz, but we loved the sparkling bathroom (and the great water pressure in the shower), the posh sheets...

Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and most major attractions. Clean comfy rooms. Walls a bit thin though so expect some noise intrusion from close neighbors as well as voices echoing up from the street through the open courtyard.

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
