Fun and quirky....friendly, laid back staff giving excellent service. Directly across the street from St. Paul's entrance..... was very convenient as I had several different appointments. Spotlessly clean, I would definitely stay there again!

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 May 2016 via mobile

I stayed in this lovley and cozy hotel for two nights before I travelled to Terrace BC. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Espresso machine in the room and in the bathroom you have all you need! You get a bike for free, so nice to explore Vancouver town. I travel a lot but... More

Considering how much I paid for the room, I wasn't expecting what I got. It was the cleanest, most spacious queen bed hotel room I've been in for less than $80 AUD a night (granted, it was on sale, but I would definitely pay full price for the place). The inner courtyard was beautiful, the bathrooms looked new and the... More

I stayed at The Burrard for 2 nights for work. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were comfortable and I loved the decor, bathrooms compact but with everything you need. Staff were all super (helping me with some items I managed to leave behind too), and I loved the extra touches such as the signs and information about the... More

The staff are super friendly, so helpful, and just plain awesome. The location is incredibly convienient. My room was spotless, had everything I needed, and was nicely decorated. It felt like I was staying with friends, which is a rarity in Vancouver where lots of hotels can feel overly business-ey and cold. The Burrard is such a gem!

I lived in Vancouver for years but until I stayed at The Burrard on Burrard St, I'd never even noticed the building. Turns out that this newish boutique hotel is a little affordable gem in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The hotel features a 70's motif and is a retro-fitted building with a communal central courtyard and a small parking... More

Gather Burrard is always my favourite place to stay. It's location is so central to mt west end destinations so convenience is my top reason for staying there. I really appreciate the helpful friendly check in staff and the complete, Eco friendly culture. I'll be back!

The burrard is everything you wish for in a hotel. Clean, visually appealing decor, free wifi, water etc.. and great location in the city. The staff is professional and make your brief interaction with them very good. AND THE ROOMS. When you go to any other hotel of similar price range you are met with the same boring old yellow/beige... More

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at the Berard. We like the quirky charm and the central location. I am very sensitive to noise and have trouble sleeping so I called a day ahead of time to get a quiet room. Maria was so accommodating, even though she was very busy, she found us the perfect,... I stayed here for 3 days while attending a work conference. The Burrard had lots of awesome features to share and I found my stay to be very comfortable. Location was great - walking distance from downtown but far enough away that it was quiet. I enjoyed the nespresso coffee in room and wish I'd had a chance to use... More

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
