When I am scheduled for my cochlear implant testing at St Paul's hospital, I always try to book the Burrard 1st. Right across the street with the crosswalk steps from the main entrance. Comfy bed, clean room, convenient secure parkiing and decent rate. Only complaint is really a personal preference, , really dislike the free Nespresso. Thankfully, coffee shop in...

Looks like a tropical hotel from palm trees and outerior! Staff are friendly and the room was super clean. The location was also almost perfect. It is not far from most attraction spots and skytrain stations. Highly recommend!

My husband accompanied me to Vancouver, and I had to stay in St. Paul's Hospital for over two weeks. It was so marvelous that he could walk over to visit me in my hospital room. And when I had Day Passes, we could go back and forth whenever we wished! We found that they have a fantastic discount for the...

Great place to spend a night in Vancouver! Love the decor! Clean and trendy! I appreciate an older building with a face-lift such as The Burrard. Way better than some brand new hotel! Excellent pricing too.

The front desk staff was exceptional - friendly and helpful. They remembered my special requests and recognized me every time I walked through the lobby. The rooms were quite small but had comfortable beds. Loved the big screen TV as well. Nice to have a fridge in the room and appreciated the free water. It was also in an excellent...

Super clean spunky and retro a melrose place court court yard in middle with ping pong, funky music loungers and a gas fire pit. 70's style and environment friendly across from emergency so loud ambulances at night. Awesome location. Definitely an old hotel but kept clean.

Super quick trip to Vancouver with a long list of things to see/do. The Burrard was located in a great area with lots of restaurants and sights near by. Rooms are quaint but super cute and comfortable. Great A/C and all the essential amenities (specifically the free candy!). We took the free bike rentals out for a ride around Stanley...

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
