Stayed here for the weekend when we were in town for a show. Cleanliness and all was good, but we experienced a long line up at check in, and then we were issued a room with two DOUBLE beds (not queens). To compensate they gave us a room "up high". Which means more time wasted on their slow elevator system....

The hotel was very clean and close to shopping and restaurants. Great service and easy parking (reasonably priced parking). The beds were very comfortable and the staff very accommodating. The hotel is in central downtown Vancouver and you can walk to great restaurants and shopping very easily.

Hotel is fairly old. Seems they remodeled a few years ago. However, hotel is nicely updated and easy to get around in the city from this location. Hyatt beds are always great. Parking situation is confusing. Was told I'd be paying close to $35 a night. Only paid $20 which was nice. Maybe posting more information online or creating a...

I love staying at the Hyatt Regency. It's a perfect location, right in town and only a quick walk to Pacific Centre. There is also sky train access. Rooms are lovely, clean, and spacious. Big comfy beds and a starbucks in the lobby. We will definitely be back next time we're in Vancouver!

Two adults, one kid and two babies stayed for 5 nights at Hyatt Regency. The room had two double beds and two baby cots. Despite we told them we have twins, there was only one cot but they brought another cot shortly after we arrived at the room. Our room was on the 14th floor so had a great view....

I had a two-night stay at Hyatt regency Vancouver last weekend. The hotel room is quite new and clean with modern decoration. The staff in the hotel are very nice, especially the concierges in the lounge. They are all super friendly and welcoming. However the lounge itself is small and the breakfast is lack of choices.

If ever in Vancouver and seeking a wonderful experience, I suggest the Hyatt on Burrard Street, the rooms are always clean, staff will go the extra mile, and the meals both in the Bar and Restaurant have been exquisite with amazing atmosphere that is both welcoming and comfortable for the weary business traveler

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
