Excellent location near Gastown . The room was beautiful, clean and comfy. Next time I'd not book the room based on the "supplied continental breakfast" - the bread was defrosting and only one cereal was on offer. Overall we would stay there again.

Came to BC to go to Conact2016 Music Festival. We found the Victorian Hotel through AirBNB & booked a double room with the shared bathroom. The location is close to stadium & the entertainment district, no more than 15 minutes walking distance. The room was very small, but we didn't travel to stay in our room all day. We used...

Really clean hotel, period architecture and quiet! Close to bars and shopping. Great price for the location. I choose a smaller room with a bathroom down the hall, was great for a single guy looking to do some bar hopping and walk around the city. Parking is available as well, which is useful in the city.

A central, cozy hotel in Vancouver with lovely rooms. The hotel has pretty much everything you need and is perfect for a trip to Vancouver. The only thing to mention is the breakfast that can be improved.

A very old hotel that has been kept up quite well. We stayed here just one night as we live out of the city and had a Christmas party to attend. It was close to the center of the action. The hotel itself is quite comfortable, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. All of this tied...

The price was extremely decent for the location. We also loved the bed. It was super comfy! The showers were relaxing with the water pressure and soothing lavender shampoo and conditioner. We loved this hotel and we would definitely come back in the future!

I love the Victorian and have stayed there for years. It's very clean and super convenient to Gastown and downtown Vancouver. Breakfast croissants are lovely. Shared bathrooms are clean and never busy, if you get your own the tub is deep and the shower strong. I'm not telling you my favorite room :)

Best part: super close to a lot of things within walking distance. Super affordable and quaint French-style hotel. Not sure if any rooms have an on-suite bathroom, but we were on the second floor and there were shared bathrooms at the end of the hallway. Pretty small rooms, but we didn't need much more for our short visit.

Thank you Holly-D. I'm sure glad you loved our value, but you have to try out any one of our Superior or Legacy rooms next time. These all have their own large marble tiled bathrooms and tons of room. Something to look forward to. See you then.

This historical hotel was spotless and had very tasty fresh baked breads and croissants at breakfast. Conveniently situated close to SkyTrain and well frequented public transportation stops (the Transit app is handy), a wide range of restaurants and shops are within an easy walk. The staff were helpful and provided advice on routes and change for the buses. Our room...

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
