Having read some of the TripAdvisor reviews, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It appears to have been tastefully refurbished and the two rooms we had (we visited on 2 occasions) were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable, each with large spotlessly...More
Stayed for 1 night before an Alaskan Cruise. Found everyone at the hotel (front desk, bellman, waiters, etc.) to be incredibly helpful and customer focused.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights as part of a short honeymoon. The hotel staff here knocked it out of the park in terms of service. They also did a great job of taking cues as well.

Nice hotel central location for a Vancouver visit. We stayed here 3 days before boarding a cruise. Rooms were small but very clean.

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

If you are staying downtown, I would catch the the Skytrain at the Waterfront station and take it directly to the airport ( last stop). I believe it is the Canada Line and it only cost 3.50 or a little more one way. Taking a cab from the station anywhere in downtown is cheap. This is a lot cheaper and easier coming from the airport also. The train station is located in the airport. I used to take a cab, this is fast and easy.
