We had a great time staying at the English Bay Inn. Alberto was a great host who cooks amazing breakfasts. The rooms were very comfortable and it was easy to do self check-in since we were running later than anticipated. The inn is located right...More
During our holiday in Vancouver and Vancouver Island we stayed at English Bay Inn B&B in Vancouver, the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, two other nice B&B's on the Island, Middle Beach Lodge in Tofino, and the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for one night when we...More
Our family trip was so enjoyable because we were able to stay in the apartment here! Our son has allergies, and we're are able to make our own meals for him because we have the kitchen in this suite! This was such a cozy place...More
We stayed here for 3 nights in February en route to Banff, jasper and canmore. After travelling the world and experiencing pretty much the same bland "standard" room and service this was an absolute delight. The house is impeccable in its style and presentation and...More
My wife and I stayed there this past weekend for a "mini" honeymoon. Alberto was great! We are plant-based eating, so he went out of his way to make the most beautiful full course breakfasts, and the breakfasts were some of the best food in...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

You would get on the bus at the Vancouver downtown bus station (I don't know the address but I'm sure it's on the BC Ferries Connector website) which would take you to the ferry terminal at Tsawwassen. You can get off the bus while on the ferry, then reboard in order to go from the ferry to the Victoria downtown bus station. Hope this helps!
