Travelled as a group of four to Vancouver the first week of December. We booked a two bedroom suite and were pleasantly surprised by the awesome location of the hotel and the size of the room; it was like having our own apartment in the city. We easily walked to Granville and Gastown from here. The room had a large...

Lease enjoyable stay we have had in downtown Vancouver. Service with front desk and concierge could not be worse. Couldn't even smile. The answer to every question was no. Asked when we left for the game if they had room service and they said yes until 11pm. Based on that we went out and decided to have dinner in our...

The room was very clean upon inspection (I am a housekeeper so I know what to look for) and had everything we needed. The kitchenette was really convenient as I bring my own soy milk when I travel, and having a sink was ideal. The beds were comfortable and the room was worth the price that we paid. The staff...

this hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city. Room are ok, service and staff are ok, breakfast is poor although they call it "de luxe", like in the past internet is not working well. overall is ok

We stayed 2 nights this week. Let's start with the positives. Great location, friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds. The elevators were not as slow as people had mentioned in previous reviews. Now the downside. Made my reservations about 2 months ahead and requested a high up floor. Out of 18 we got 11. A guest on the elevator requested...

Thank you for your review. With regard to Timeshare suites, they go as high as floor 19 and they are assigned by the timeshare company. The hotel is contracted to do the check-in as the timeshare does not have a 24 hour desk. The timeshare, whether it be VI Resorts, RCI or Rosedale Condominiums does not give the buffet continental...

I was in Vancouver for the first time and was attending a conference. This hotel was about 15 mins walk from the main conference centre in a place that is easy to navigate. The suite (living room - with sofa bed and a 2 x double bedroom) was a decent size with most amenities (including a kitchenette). The hotel had...

This hotel offers suites which are well equipped. The room is clean, has comfortable bed and sofas to receive guests or simply to relax. A little disappointed with limited selection of TV channels and lack of wide variety at breakfast otherwise this hotel is really good value for money.

A central location within walking distance of BC Place, a ton of restaurants and boutiques. This hotel offers friendly, customer service. There is a pool and exercise equipment for anyone that enjoys swimming and working out while they stay. I would recommend the Rosedale on Robson.

This was the second time I've stayed at this property, and would do so again. While the furnishings are a bit dated, everything is impeccably clean and comfortable. The 2 bedroom unit we had was great for 3 adults. Lots of sitting space, kitchenette well appointed, floor to ceiling windows(some open for fresh air), tons of decent towels and lots of...

This very affordable hotel is well situated in downtown Vancouver, so is very close to the shopping precinct, art gallery, library (lovely building, worth a look) and public transport, but is also surrounded by quiet residential streets and lots of good, low-cost restaurants, take aways and pubs. We walk a lot, so found it easy to walk to the Granville...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
