We stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert in August. The location is perfect, close to everything. We walked Robson street and went to restaurants. Walking location to BC Place where the concert was. Our room was very spacious, it had a kitchenette when you walked in with a seating area which the sofa pulled out to a bed, plus...

Only 2 blocks from BC Place, this is an outstanding hotel if you are going to events at the stadium. It's also located in the very "happening" Yaletown neighborhood of Vancouver so within a few blocks of the hotel are dozens of fantastic restaurants and bars as well as fun shops. We were able to walk everywhere, including down to...

This hotel is great. Friendly staff, spacious, nicely appointed rooms, very comfortable beds, central location in Yaletown. There are restaurants close by - a great little Japanese Restaurant just around the corner, with others only a block or two away. We walked a couple of blocks and then hired bikes which we then used to ride the sea wall and...

This was our first place of stay on our holiday to Canada. Although we arrived earlier than check in they took our luggage and offered us a shower room if we needed to freshen up. We decided to keep going as jet lag was about to hit us!!! A drink nearby and then back to check in. A 2 bedroom...

Comfortable hotel suite in downtown Vancouver. The hotel is an independent located in what I've been told is the arena district. Easy walking in downtown Vancouver means that shopping and Stanley Park (40 min in stroll time) are accessible. Room was clean and had nice view. Wifi never seemed to work but ubiquitous Starbucks never lets you down.

Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Daniel, at the concierge desk, was a great help to us as we tried to book trips and get around the city. There were bedspreads used in our room and I think of it as old fashion. They are not cleaned as often as the sheets are changed and I particularly don't like that....

Location is the best part of this hotel. It is clean and the staff is very nice especially housekeeping. My big complaint is that the concierge and the desk staff gave us the run around when we were unable to connect to the internet. My husband confronted them and they admitted to him that it is generally bad even though...

Stayed in a suite with separate lounge area and full kitchen. Bedroom overlooked the street but noise was not a problem on floor 6. The room suite was certainly spacious for 2 people. There is a small pool at the hotel on the ground floor but we did not try it out. The hotel's restaurant was being renovated so no...

We only stayed one night, it was ok. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean, smart and comfortable. We had a suite and the living / dining area and cooking facilities were minimal and with no windows, abit dingy. The pool was very small for such a large hotel and the changing room is equally small and basic. Not a bad...

This is the second time my wife and I have had a quick getaway from Victoria at the Rosedale. The friendly staff, central location (great for being close to major events like rock concerts and sport events), a clean, comfortable room and convenient suite set up is both economical and pleasant. We wrestled a bit with the coffee maker but...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
