We stayed here for four nights. A good hotel in a good location. I liked being able to open the window as often this is not the case in a high-rise hotel. The air conditioning was a bit rattly but not an issue. Wifi was not reliable in the room but fine in the lobby. Wallking distance to Gastown, Canada...

On arrival each time the concierge Andrew Cecil helped with luggage , advice & pointers to local attractions. Loved hop on bus, stanley park , grouse mountain & gastown; all suggested by Andrew. Best hotel we stayed at in Canada but they were all fine. Good pool & restaurant still under construction but breakie at Mcdonalds is close by.

Stayed here during last week of July for 4 nights and have to say the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring this wonderful city. Only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront at Canada Place (where we boarded the free shuttle bus to Capialino Bridge), 10 minute walk to Yaletown and the South Waterfront (where took...

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, the room was decent, but kitchen was a little too small in hallway. It was just good enough to warm and cook light breakfast. Loved the location, close to almost everything. Loved the ceiling to floor windows.

We received great service during our one night at Rosedale on Robson, in July 2015. We arrived early and wanted to drop-off our luggage so we could have a rest (after a long flight) and then go out to explore Vancouver without having to schlep our bags around with us before the official booking-in time. The staff were brilliant –...

We spent 2 nights at Rosedale on Robson and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is in a great location just off Robson St making it possible to walk to many of the points of interest. Lots of shops and restaurants are close by. We had a one bedroom unit with a king-sized bed in the spacious bedroom which had...

We stayed at The Rosedale for three nights. The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was actually a suite with a good sized lounge and bedroom. The entry is into the lounge and there is no window which makes it a bit dark. The bedroom had floor to ceiling window which makes it...

Arriving in a strange City, 6 hours before taking off on a 13 hour flight across the Pacific, is a recipe for bad jetlag. The Rosedale on Robson was an excellent hotel to "crash out" and use as a base for a few days in Vancouver. Staff, especially those on reception, were welcoming at all times with no request being...

I stayed here while attending a conference at the Vancouver Convention Center. While there are other hotels closer to the waterfront, this hotel was an easy walk to anywhere downtown, and very close to the White Caps stadium if you are a soccer fan. There are plenty of take out restaurants nearby which is convenient since the suites provide a...

This hotel was a good place to stay not only for its central location but the accomodation was spacious and well appointed with a small lounge and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would like to make special mention of the concierge who went beyond the bounds of normal service. We were on the 18th...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
