outstanding staff, efficient, friendly respectful.. comfortable beds, with great turn down service. convenient coffee/tea amenities. much appreciated complementary usage of umbrella during the rainy season. found the room to be quiet considering the proximity of being in the heart of Vancouver.
Good location, within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shopping. Nice comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. Very clean and tidy public areas. Staff helpful. The restaurant here was fabulous for breakfast and the staff in the restaurant were great, really friendly and providing excellent service...More
This hotel appears to be three older buildings pieced together to make one. They've then done a lipstick and mascara update so it looks a little more posh than it actually is. And it shows.

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, it is a good mid-range choice. The room interiors are very old style. The bathroom is small with a wash basin outside the bathroom.
Breakfast offered is also basic. The staff professional and detached.
This is a good basic hotel that has nice rooms and lobby area.

Bathroom was clean had a shower/tub combo
Relatively good location to get around the city

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

Hi, I'm not sure if there is an airport shuttle, we hired a car from the airport. Breakfast was not included in the room rate that we paid, however there is a small restaurant there and some of our group had breakfast there, I'm not sure of the cost though. Perhaps they would have this information re the shuttle etc on their website.
