Stayed here for one night. Very convenient location near the waterfront and associated SkyTrain station, Gastown, Canada Place. Hotel occupies an older building, which is reflected in both the exterior façade and interior layout, but the décor in the rooms isn't too dated. Plenty of accessible power outlets to charge devices. TV is a flat-screen. The bathroom is clean, features...

Super convenient to everything...buses trains, car rental. Excellent walking location and great restaurants and coffee shops near by. It's a good value the only down side is that their pillows are quite lumpy:(

The room was a bit too small and quishy for two people to stay in. We got the room right in front of the elevator, and everytime someone walked by we would hear their whole conversation. Other than that, the view was nice, the location was PERFECT, and the staff were very welcoming and nice.

Good location, very clean, rooms with all you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. AC/heater in the room too loud and too noisy with open window due to other AC from adjoining room. Dial into WiFi per floor which is a bit annoying. Breakfast in the basement with no windows. Breakfast rooms small and very basic. Breakfast offer quite good.

Stayed here for one night while on business. The room is clean but is in need of a little TLC. Stayed in a room on the 4th with 2 frosted windows that look out to a brick wall and closed alley. The room is very bright but has lots of lighting. The bed was comfortable albeit a bit squeaky which...

Very clean and comfortable rooms. My lights were left on in anticipation of my arrival. The breakfast room was small, but there was a good selection of items. The service was very friendly. Great value for the money and super location.

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
