Recently stayed here for 3 nights and would recommend this hotel. The location was great and easy to get to and from the airport on the skytrain. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in Moxie's was good but not included in the price of the room. Would stay here again if visiting...

After staying at this hotel a few times in the past, it's easy to see how fast it's going downhill. While the lobby itself is quite modern and nice, the hallways and rooms are dirty, outdated, and I found it to be quite loud. Not even the street outside, you could hear just about everything everyone was saying in the...

I booked a standard room but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the use of facilities such as the swimming pool. The spa was a little too hot, ouch, I felt like a boiled lobster but overall an enjoyable stay and I will be going back there shortly. Can't beat the price...

My husband and I stayed April 14th for 1 night. We went to a concert at Rogers arena and the location could not have been any better! 5 minute walk if that. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 if 2 reasons. #1 there...

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your review and mentioning our clean and spacious rooms! On a concert night Moxies Room Service is not available from 4-7pm, there should be signage posted for our guests and if it was not I apologize. Thank you for staying at Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre. Kind regards, Susan Strome gm_vancouver@sandman.ca

My husband and I always dreamed to visit Vancouver and go to the hockey games as we are big Canucks fans. We decided that as a part of our honeymoon we travel to see them playing live! (and it was great!). We choose the hotel purely by its great central location and didn't expect much else. After 13h flight we...

I enjoyed a short but sweet stay here April 12. I was pleasantly surprised with a room on the 11th floor. Not a terrible view either! some city and some ocean, other than the weather it was beautiful to wake up to! The price was reasonable, and the check in was seamless. Very helpful staff, as well as friendly and...

Room was clean and quiet. I was traveling for business and I asked for a quiet room. They put me in the Corporate tower away from the Elevator and Ice machine, and amazingly I seemed to have no neighbours on either side - so it was definitely quiet. From where I was Wi-Fi didn't work at all. Would connect to...

While the hotel itself was clean and up-to-date, the noise level was ridiculous. The housekeeping staff started at 8 or 830am. You could hear every word they said on top of them knocking on everyone's doors, rolling their carts up and down the hallways, doors were constantly slamming. It was ridiculous. I don't think I would consider going back unless...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
