We decided to stay here for two nights when we saw a good price offered from our travel club although we are Fairmont president's members. Thought we would be treated differently since we didn't book directly with the hotel. We were wrong. The check-in and...More

Everyone was very friendly and eager to please. The restaurant is exceptional. The pool was closed for repairs but the hotel arranged another pool for us to go to. We stayed on the gold level floor and received impeccable service.

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.

Donand - there are plenty of Cafes within 500m walking distance to suit every pocket. One of the best Japanese restaurant I have ever eaten in life is walking distance from Fairmont. It is behind Hyatt. I am forgetting the name but think it was Rue 909 Sushi. Then there is cafe at the crossing while going towards the water front. Again forgetting the name though.
