This hotel location exceeded expectations we were able to walk most places after a tour of the city by the hop on hop off bus. Staff were very very good. Cons, very poor wifi, Granville St is full of beggars and people doing deals after hours. Apart from that we were able to walk everywhere except China town which is...

Great location and amazingly clean, the bed is superb and all is immaculate. Staff is ultra friendly and some speak Spanish. If you are downtown this is a great hotel with a nice Pub beside it and Tim Hortons across the street. Fully recommended.

Near Granville Street and a couple of blocks away from the Skytrain station. Conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, Robson Street, in the entertainment district. At the main entrance, you will be met with automatic doors, which is a plus if your hands are full. Then you have to navigate about 4 or 5 steps to the reception, so not...

Positives: Front desk friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent enough everything you need. Good location, comfy beds. Negatives: very loud, lots of outside noise. Walls super thin and we suffered from annoying noisy neighbours which kept us awake especially Saturday and Sunday night and stopped us relaxing. Very disappointed as we are very active so need a decent night's sleep...

Decent location ...sheets were dirty when we arrived, cleaners missed cleaning the room the second day. Third day of the stay they finally cleaned the room after I asked the maid service. Breakfast was very good should be part of the nightly fee in my opinion. Would stay again cause the location was good with parking nearby

The room was decent size for a major city and more importantly clean and bed comfortable. I slept like a baby. It's a comfort inn, but probably on par with a Holiday Inn in terms of comfort.I didn't interact with the staff, so won't comment there. Next to the hotel there were plenty of shops, restaurant, buses and things happening--this...

I had a really enjoyable stay here. 2 nights in a standard room, it was actually pretty quiet considering the location. The room was large and clean with a nice city view, and the bath tub was amazing. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good, and the pub next door was a fun time. Location is...

Place is located right on Granville, priced very reasonably, and the hotel is nice. But the rooms are tiny. The beds pretty much take up the whole room. But they are so comfortable. Like sleeping on a cloud.

The room was really clean and we got a good deal on Hotwire. We stayed on the 4th floor not facing the road. It was surprisingly quiet for being right downtown and attached to Doolins a busy bar. The room was really very small which is my only complaint.

The other reviews sound like a different hotel. The Comfort Inn downtown has many faults...It is old and not in an attractive way, the rooms are extremely small...the elevator holds max four slender people or 2 people with small suitcases. They charge their guests a $25 fee per day to park in their parking lot..never experienced this in all my...

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
