This hotel was the perfect choice for a romantic getaway with my wife. The wine welcome gift was a nice touch as well. We will without a doubt be back again soon for another restful, romantic getaway.

We did this through a coupon. The room was small but very comfortable. The included bottle of wine was a nice touch and the included parking is very valuable in downtown Vancouver. It was quite close to where we went for dinner and easy to access the home show at BC Place.

The hotel staff is friendly and nice. The rooms (I stayed in the Superior room) is quite small (comparable to the down town San Francisco) however they are clean, bar fridge full of snacks and booze, the washroom was clean, in one piece, shower worked properly. So overall the room felt tight but we didn't need much more. Our room...

We loved our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom even had a magnified mirror as well as nice toiletries and towels, etc. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The roof top provided a good view of the area and a nice warm hot tub. We also enjoyed a lovely help yourself breakfast in...

1)I phoned them far ahead (a couple weeks in advanced atleast) to reserve a room for my husband's birthday, the lady on the phone even said that she'll write this down so they know when we check in. Usually with other hotels they atleast give you some compliments and make this day/experience somehow special which is very nice. This one...

Great staff and innovative marketing can only go so far towards bad, overall decision making, when it comes to running a hotel. That's the case, here, I'm afraid. My wife and I purchased a couples weekend package for this boutique hotel and had s good idea as to what we might expect. A smaller-than-average room. Art Deco...or some such design....

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. The events which took place the night mentioned was very unfortunate. We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this. The fire alarm did go off due to a vandalism act by one of our guest in the hotel. After preliminary investigation we found out that this was not from a group...

I booked a two night Valentine's Day getaway for my wife and I. We went for the one bedroom suite. This turned out to be a great idea as it gave us more room on a couple of rainy days. Everything was clean and well kept. Yaletown is a short walk - same for the harbor looking South to Granville...

We stayed at the Executive Friday night Feb. 17th and will not be staying there again. Although the room was fine, the staff cheerful and helpful and the breakfast satisfying, we experienced a serious breach in safety. At about 11:00 pm the fire alarm sounded. We were there with our son, daughter-in-law and eight year old grandson. The instructions in...

We live about 40 minutes' drive from downtown Vancouver, so we usually stay at this hotel when we attend the International Wine Festival. They offer a decent rate, average parking fee (@$20/24 hours), and small but comfortable rooms. All the staff we've ever encountered, from desk staff to cleaning personnel, have been welcoming and helpful. The rooms come with bar...

Thank you for your review. Will pass on your comments to the front desk staff. The team will be happy to hear that you enjoyed their service. We could see how the traffic noise on the Granville Bridge may be an issue for light sleepers. We do have the option of changing the room towards English Bay and to a...

The parking garage is a little tight for any larger size cars but very convenient to leave it and explore the area while staying at the hotel. The hallways are older but they have renovated rooms and we were very happy with the room we stayed in, The most important things to me are cleanliness, safety, comfort. This hotel nailed...

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
