location is ok. It is my first time in a hotel without restaurant. They only serve breakfast and its REALLY bad. Air conditioning does not work. I travelled with a double stroller and had to take two different elevators to get to my room and one of them didn't work. They sort of clean the room.

Please allow me to begin by apologizing for one of the two elevators that was out of service. It required special parts, and took much longer than we would have liked to get back in operation. With warmer temperatures upon us, the air conditioning may find difficulties in keeping up and I apologize if the unit in your room was...

I'd give this property 6/10. The staff were friendly enough but the room wasn't as clean as I'd like my hotel room to be. I did get a room upgrade for some reason to a room with a jacuzzi tub so that was a nice surprise :)

Hotel definitely needs updating, but location was great for walking to everything. Underground, secure parking was very reasonably priced for downtown location. One other note about location...hotel is along the ramp onto Grainville Bridge so lots of road noise! Staff was very friendly.

A little hard hard to get to - stay right on Howe, don't go over the bridge - but perfect location. Stroll two blocks down to the ferry for an expensive blip across to Granville island ($11 round trip for two to go across maybe fifty yards) or walk the other way to the Vancouver art gallery. The hotel is...

Thank you for letting guest know of that important tip when traveling to us. Stay to the right when coming down Howe Street and take the slip road. Do not cross the bridge. Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
