The Opus is a GREAT location - although the hallways and lounge area may be a little - just a little - tired - the rooms are great and in wonderful condition. The service at reception / valet / and check out the best I have recieved - better than the Fairmont - the River Rock for sure and others....

My wife and I stayed here four nights in early September 2013. We hadn't planned on staying there per se; rather, we got our reservation via a Hotels.com blind reservation, The property is located in Yaletown. If you aren't in Vancouver for business, this is a great place to stay. It's off the central business district, but it appears to...

Just returned from a four night stay at the Opus, it really is like a second home for me in Vancouver as it is my third stay there. If you want to feel like you live in Vancouver stay here. If you want the full on touristy experience it might not be for you. The hotel is in one of...

This small hotel is modern and well appointed. It is located across the street from the amazing subway line, the Canada Line, which rund directly from the airport to the waterfront. Friendly staff, quiet and close to great restaurants and cute shops. It is also two blocks from False Creek which offers water taxi service to a number of great...

It's all about service and this hotel offers it. Vancouver is an extremely bike friendly city, and this service oriented hotel provides the bikes for free. We had an amazing time riding around Stanley Park and the Seawall. The room was beautifully decorated and with nice amenities, such as an espresso coffee machine and L'Occitane products. Location could not be...

Stayed here for a couple of nights while dropping my son off for university. Yaletown is great location and the Opus is in the middle of it. It's not budget by any means, but well appointed and the service was excellent.

Very professional and friendly staff! Clean, modern hotel in the heart of Yaletown. Each room comes with an ipad to use during your stay (you can take it anywhere you go!) There are a dozen great restaurants within 2 blocks.... the ocean and marina are only blocks away too! I Would recommend the hotel to anybody!

Everything was great about the hotel. We enjoyed the location, the free bikes, the staff was amazing and so were the rooms. The breakfast and the restaurant is really nice too. We didn't have dinner or lunch there but the breakfast was really nice. We can highly recommend this hotel for leisure and business travellers.

I stayed here in the early Summer and found that it was easily the worst excuse for a hotel that I have ever been in. The room and bathroom was so filthy that my wife wanted to use the bathroom downstairs in the bar where she saw a couple of girls snorting drugs. While I waited for her in the...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
