Stayed at the Opus for our 15th year anniversary. Loved the room - it was just what I was hoping for. Deep tub, modern and sleek design, super clean and fresh. The view wasn't that great, but I didn't request a specific view and we loved the floor to ceiling windows. Over-all it was a nice stay. The king-sized bed...

I booked into Opus Hotel for a business trip having never stayed there before. Upon arrival I had been upgraded to a suite complete with a two-sided glass fireplace separating the bedroom from the living room. The room was lovely, cozy and very comfortable. It rained the entire time I was there so every time I entered my room I...

A Sat night stay. Friendly and prompt staff, clean quiet room with modem great design and unique layout. Room service breakfast was fast (20 min) and tasty. Not cheap: room, parking, or room service. But worth it for a special occasion or if cash isn't an issue.

An excellent boutique hotel at a reasonable price. Good central location near shopping, good restaurants in Yaletown. Canada Line train stop across the street. Free bicycle rentals, great on-site restaurant, friendly staff, clean rooms and great service.

We stayed at the Opus in September while visiting friends. The hotel is well-cared for, has fabulous rooms--quite spacious for a boutique hotel, and is perfectly situated in Yaletown. We especially loved the unexpected perk of having a wifi enabled iPad to carry with us around the city. It was a wonderful experience all the way around. The front desk...

My husband and I stayed at the Opus over the past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The staff was extremely kind and helpful...the room was very clean and the mattress was ubercomfy. We consider ourselves big time foodies and have nothing but raves about the restaurant (best wine service in Vancouver EVER). We have usually stayed at the Fairmont...

I have stayed at the Opus a few times now. It is definitely my go to place in Vancouver. Aside from being a perfectly situated property in Yaletown, it is in the heart of the restaurant and entertainment area. The hotel has a great vibe. The rooms are lovely and the gym is well appointed. What makes this an excellent...

Just moved out of my apartment in Yaletown and used the Opus to transition. Made me want to move in to the hotel full time and stay in Yaletown. Location offers the very best of the neighbourhood and the property and staff are simply wonderful. May be relocating outside of Vancouver and if I do, I look forward already to...

I stayed overnight on my way to a wedding. The checkin staff was very helpful and friendly. My dog was travelling with me and the staff were very pet friendly too. The only downside to this hotel is the parking situation. It can be awkward finding parking if you do not wish to use the valet service.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
