We chose this hotel because of the proximity to our departure on Nowwegian Line cruise to Alaska. We could easily walk to board our ship (about three blocks) and the hotel is close to shopping, sightseeing, public transportation and all kinds of dining choices. The room is very comfortable, quiet and we enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast. We needed to... More

We had little difficulty finding his hotel, as it is discretely tucked away, but once inside the lofty lobby, we were very well looked after. We had chosen a standard room for a two night stay, and it was excellent. We were able to walk the short distance from the cruise terminal, with plenty of bars and cafés to choose... More

This hotel is a hidden gem in Vancouver. It is a perfect location for cruising. It's an easy walk to the pier, even walking with luggage. The staff was friendly and our room was perfect and rather elegant. We were able to take the train from the airport to the Waterfront with ease for $7.75/person. We would definitely choose Auberge... We stayed at the Auberge for a conference at the Convention Center. It was an excellent choice. Good continental style breakfast and the full gym were nice amenities. The room was a little on the small side but that was fine. Very close to the convention center and easy to get to other parts of the city. A quick walk... More

My wife and I were in town for a couple of nights and needed clean and comfortable accommodations downtown, walkable to area attractions without challenging our budget. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
