If you are on campus at UBC, this is the best spot. We stayed in a suite that had a nice kitchen where we could fix breakfast. There was ample parking and the garden area outside was wonderful. There weren't any real negatives, but the lanai window could have used a screen door (to keep the bugs out). Beyond that,...

Fabulous spacious one bedroom suites with good bedding, bathrooms, kitchenettes, but no Air conditioning and lots of noise from traffic and buses. Wi-fi was very iffy( no way to work) and breakfast not great. Lots of parking, easy to find. Would go back in the winter only. A decent choice around $200 but not worth anymore.

We stayed one night: very nice apartment style suits with good kitchen facility. Superb place to stay if you are visiting UBC. The walls/floors are bit thin - it is easy to hear the neighbors - but apart from that, great value for your money!

I recently stayed at the West Coast Suites at UBC's Gage Towers as I was on campus writing a test. The location is fantastic, and the room was very well appointed. The three of us were very comfortable, and the price was quite reasonable for the amenities provided. We really enjoyed the full kitchen, as well as the separate bedroom....

This is an unusual hotel. The great majority of the facility is a UBC dorm and check-in involves waiting in line at the student desk. We had to wait while a student was extracted from a stuck elevator in the dorm part of the facility (the high rise). Our suite was in a separate, apartment-style building with complete kitchen, separate...

Stayed 2 nights in late January for some business at UBC. The location is great with regards to being on UBC campus, and within 100m of the bus exchange. This allows you to get on a bus and into downtown Vancouver in anywhere from 25 - 40 minutes (depending on bus, time of day, traffic, etc.). The only downside to...

This is an very acceptable pace to stay if your focus is the UBC campus. Clean, fresh you are given an efficient suite complete with a kitchen and separate bedroom. Nothing fancy but finished very well. The location isn't very attractive but you are exactly where you want to be and the drive from DT runs about 30 mins so...

Other than for conferences at UBC, this is a convenient place to stay only if you have a family member interested in attending UBC and taking a campus tour. Visitors planning to arrive on a Sunday should be aware that very few of the university's restaurants, cafes, and bistros are open on Sundays. The nearest places to eat outside of...

Stayed here for Buddhist teaching .Room is nice with kitchen. Although a bit far from downtown, but can enjoy the beautiful campus and pleasant weather in June . I like to go to rose garden for sunset with ocean view. Restaurant choices not that great near campus ,need to drive out to 4 th street for more delicious food. However, can enjoy...

We stayed for 3 nights in a suite overlooking the (mainly empty) car park so although we heard a little traffic noise from the adjacent road it was fairly quiet overall. Suite was spacious and fairly well equipped - coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glassware for 4 people, dish towels and dishwasher tablets, pots and pans but not...

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your comments regarding lack of cooking utensils, shower cap and the issue with the opaque screen doors. We will look into improving those items for better guest experience in the future. We are pleased to learn that you enjoyed our location, easy access to downtown and campus amenities. Thanks again for staying with...
