Great B&B with required privacy. Well maintained and close to bus public transport. Value for money in Vancouver. Get a room away from the road to minimise traffic noise. Recommend the Adler master bedroom.
I’ve stayed in many B & B’s and enjoyed my stays, but I didn’t expect the poor experience I had at Granville House. First of all, the keypad locks on every door including the kitchen and housekeeping closet as well as the guest rooms were...More

Sorry we fell short of your expectations during your stay. Every B&B is as individual as the owner, and we are no exception. Our target market is the tech savvy traveller looking for an alternative to downtown Vancouver hotels. We offer an owner managed, licensed...More
I wouldn't stay there again but it was ok. Not as nice as other B&B's I have stayed at and given the price, I would have expected more. The rooms were ok but the ones facing the street are pretty noisy so be prepared for...More
Two excellent stays at this B&B. Excellent alternative to a hotel, great midtown location, excellent staff extremely quiet. Privacy is maintained. The rooms facing the street can have traffic noise. The rooms are outstanding and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is very good.
My wife and I arrived last Saturday for a 4 day stay. On arrival at 4 PM we found no one at home until 7:30 AM the next morning. We also noticed posted signs warning us that; if we parked our rental car in the...More

Dear SnakeDocNYC, I am sorry you found our B&B strange, but I am reminded of the 1971 song "Signs" by the 5 Man Electrical Band (Sign, sign, everywhere a sign). I do not like signs, but after 17 years as a B&B owner, I find...More
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the
city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
