Joanne has a beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood, walking distance from at least two parks. She can be quite helpful with planning your stay. A highlight of this B&B is the common area on the main floor, which is for guest use only, has lots of windows and skylights, a complete kitchen, and opens up to the back...

My daughter was starting UBC and I was looking for something nearby for the week. In order to make sure there was room available I opted to email the owners directly. They informed there was and advised me to make a reservation on the website. I logged on to their website and indeed found there was a room available to...

When I emailed you to state that I had availability, I did so from my mobile site, with all my best intentions. I am not able to update my system 100% of the time, especially when I am not in front of my computer. The message that displayed on my reservation system when you viewed my availability: I make my...

We were here for five nights at the last leg of our trip. The house is located in a beautiful residential area, 5 minute walk from the bus stop that can take one downtown with bus no 007 (a 20 minute ride). It has a nice backyard that allows guests to find serenity and sunlight whenever needed. There were also...

We traveled to Vancouver for a week of vacation. Joanne's B&B gave us a terrific place to call home while we were there. Our room was tastefully done and we enjoyed access to the kitchen and refrigerator downstairs as well as the treats left out for her guests. This B&B is centrally located and Joanne has a wonderful book of...

I stayed at this fabulous B&B for 4 nights and it instantly felt like home. The house was beautiful and very well laid out for guests in terms of the amount of separate space available to use in addition to the actual bedroom. Guests had a spacious living/breakfast/computer/TV area, including kitchen with complimentary snacks, drinks, coffee, tea etc available for...

Not only the best B&B but the best lodging I've ever stayed at! My mom and I came to BC for the first time and couldn't have asked for a better location or hostess. This beautiful house was in a quiet, tree lined neighborhood and central to many attractions (only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver). Joanne made us feel like...

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to Vancouver. The house was really beautiful both inside and out, our room was nice and quiet and came with a cat that liked to use our open window for ingress and egress. The breakfasts were amazing!!! The owner is a fabulous cook and my wife was a huge fan...

Our stay was really beautifull. The rooms were excellent, the breakfast superb, but the friendliness and the helpfulness of Joanne isnt't to surpass. By the way you can walk by foot to downtown in a short time and the house is in a very calm neighborhood.

We've had a really good time at the House On Dunbar B&B. A comfy bed, great bathroom and such a good breakfast in the morning with the other guests. Joanna is a lovely host, she has been super helpfull to us and from the house we were at the airport pretty quick by cab.

Staying in West Point Grey

Neighbourhood Profile
West Point Grey
West Point Grey is one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods, especially known for its easygoing and admired beachfronts. Locals crowd the Spanish Banks and Jericho Beach, especially in the summer, where a sprawling view of the English Bay awaits. The central village is an oasis of sovereign shops, many of them in local operation for years. The neighbourhood has a more personal feeling to it, and can be a wonderful and much-needed break from the bustle of big-city life, being a little haven of peace and quiet with an almost village temperament in the heart of Vancouver.
