When my wedding guests and I descended upon the Hotel Grand Pacific like a plague of locusts, the staff effectively helped us work out logistics problems regarding rooms and kept us well fed with the restaurant. Special dietary needs were met with respect and the bartender even invented an excellent drink for us on the fly given only the prompt "something fruity"! The Earl Grey-infused gin is highly recommended.

I noticed many improvements particularly with their services at this lovely hotel. The staff is very welcoming. Josee deserves praise for being welcoming, hospitable, and incredibly enthusiastic. He welcomed and assisted us with a great smile on his face. Also our kids loved the pool and it was very clean.

Four nights for work / then personal. Room was comfortable, we appreciated the desk and the two relatively comfortable chairs. Double queen room with a view of the museum. From the balcony we got more of a view of the harbour. Staff was friendly and helpful with booking and billing. Across from the ferry terminal you can hear the horn from the ferry multiple times a day - this was mostly charming for us but you may want to bring ear plugs if you might be sleeping in the day. Restaurant and lounge were nice looking but we did not try it. Had breakfast from the cafe first day which was delicious but pricey. We made the short walk for groceries to Red Barn and Thrifty's and took advantage of the fridge in the room for the other days breakfast. A reasonable walk into "downtown" / across the harbour 10-15 minutes for most places is a fairly pleasant walk along the waterfront. My first time traveling out of province since 2019 and it was a very nice stay. I would definitely stay here again, but I am probably too frugal to pay the advertised rate if we hadn't had a corporate rate arranged. (It's a much nicer place than we normally stay lol) …

The room was gorgeous and modern, with a beautiful view of the harbour. Friendly and efficient staff went the extra mile to make our stay perfect! Fathom is a must for dinner, as well as the new whisky lounge. Can't wait to come back!

Our room was perfectly comfortable, we all enjoyed the pool, delicious food and excellent service. Fathom lounge and restaurant was great. We dined there every morning and met friends in the lounge. Food and drinks were top notch.

I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The staff welcome you with big smiles and truly care that your experience is a wonderful. The renovations in the restaurant and bar are beautiful and elegant and the food was delicious and very reasonable. Great value.

From the minute that we stepped out of our vehicle at the front door, until we checked out the following morning, we were treated with the utmost care , from the valet service, to taking our bags to the room, to the room itself, the staff at front desk upon checking in, to the staff walking around, to the absolutely amazing food served @ the Fathom Restaurant. The hotel was truly grand in every sense of the word. All the staff, at every level, aimed at making our stay memorable and wonderful.

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool was huge and had a fitness class. no microwave in room if you needed one, however had a mini fridge. If you are a tv watcher, there was not much to watch, like pay per view. Across for the black ball ferry line. Very convenient to sightseeing walk around.
