Stayed at the union club for 4 days and absolutely loved the hotel, staff and amenities were great. Our room was beautiful, loved the library and had wonderful breakfasts everyday. Special thanks to the team at the Union club for making my first visit to Victoria truly amazing.

We were a little bit surprised that this hotel is a (ex-military ?) clubhouse. It's charming full with historical assets, a dresscode included. Standard rooms are too small, no place to put your clothes in a decent hanger or wardrobe, so the suitcases were unpacked and annoying in the small room. For the rest a very interesting place with friendly...

We spent 2 nights there. Its location is perfect, its historical ambience is great...there are some negative points about this hotel, first it has some particular rules which we did not know about them and it has been brought to our attention by a waitress in a really rude manner for example talking on cell phone in lobby and resturant....

We enjoyed a Saturday evening roast beef dinner. Service is incomparable. Food is presented with style and is delicious! You can choose a more casual venue in lounge or enjoy a more formal meal in dining room with reservations. Whichever you choose, the experience is always perfect.

We stayed at the Union Club for 5 nights. The bedroom was great, spotlessly clean and breakfasts were plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the charm of the place and in particular drinking tea while reading papers and magazines in the large reading room. My husband also found this was a great place to catch up on a little work while we...

The Union Club is a unique place to stay. It is an old private club with a building dating to 1913. It has that old club ambiance with paneled walls in the library and dining rooms. We stayed at the Union Club for two nights. We're reciprocal club members, so we booked through the Tokyo American Club. In spite of being a gentlemen's club, the overall atmosphere was not stuffy or exclusive. The rooms do not have air con, but the temperature drops at night, so this was not a problem. We enjoyed the complimentary tea...
