The Albion is one of the top two B&B's that I've ever stayed in. Beautiful house. Great rooms. Great breakfasts. Great hosts. Great location; only a couple blocks to Fisherman's Wharf, and only a few more blocks the other direction to the Legislature building and...More
I cannot begin to describe how wonderful my experience was at Albion Manor. Don - he's not a cook - in my books he is a 5 star chef! I had the most decadent, fabulous, scrumptious breakfasts. My room was lovely - I had my...More
We recently stayed in the Tudor Room for two nights and I highly recommend this small boutique inn. The decor and gardens are delightful -- lots to see and explore for a small property. The daily breakfast is wonderful -- lovely service, china, silver, etc...More
We stayed at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast for five nights in October and there were so many lovely elements to this beautifully decorated home and our stay. We viewed all of the rooms and they are all unique and comfortable, you cannot go wrong...More
This was the most Victorian of any Victorian B&B's we've ever stayed at. Lots of art work, especially Fernando's. We stayed 3 nights in the Queen's Terrace room, which had its own private patio. It was an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and to the...More

Hi there, Albion Manor is close to the ferry and I would advise you to catch a taxi , rather than walking especially with your elderly mother. She would appreciate the beautiful Manor and its gardens. There are many rooms to choose from and there is not many stairs. As to the castle we did not go there, but it is a local tourist attraction and your hosts are excellent local advisors to see the best of the area and they will point you in the right direction to get transport to all the sites. Make sure you take your mother to the Fairmont as well. Victoria is a wonderful city and Albion Manor is a fantastic place to stay to experience this area. Regards, Alex (cagatravel).
