We spent 4 nights at the Great White Bear Tundra Lodge November 1-4, 2016 with Natural Habitat Adventures. This was a first class trip all the way. We flew a day early to Winnipeg and stayed two nights at the Fort Garry Hotel on the front end and one night on the back end. The hotel was nice and clean...

My Husband and I spent 2 nights on the Tundra Lodge, we were doing the Tundra Lodge & Town experience with Nathab. What a special experience. The Tundra Lodge sleeping quarters are quite small, but just what you are lead to expect from the brochure. This is made up for 200% by how you are looked after by all the...

My wife and I spent three nights (October 29, 30 and 31) at the Great White Bear Tundra Lodge. Since all guests of the lodge are also clients of Natural Habitat, I will comment also on the guided experience. The lodge is in existence for only five or six weeks each year, so each year the units have to be...

Perhaps if there had been more bears, the poor quality of the lodge would not have mattered as much. While the food was excellent, the lodge was below basic. Coffin sized "rooms" consisted of a cot-sized wooden platform with a skimpy mattress, and a VERY small area, large enough to put a medium suitcase and room to stand. There are...

My wife and I have been dreaming of going on one of the polar bear tours for years and we finally got the opportunity to stay in the Great White Bear Lodge through Natural Habitat. Dont balk at the cost of a tour out here, because it is worth every single cent, the tour operators are amazing, the quality of...

Great! First, the reason you'd go here: POLAR BEARS. We had about 50 sightings of about 25 bears in the 4 night stay on the Oct 28 - Nov 2 trip. Sightings from the lodge were outstanding, as well as from the half-day excursions on the Polar Rover that had a bathroom. I saw the most sparring from the lodge....

Since I was a little girl I have wanted to go out on the Tundra and see the Polar Bears. This Lodge makes the viewing safe and great. We traveled with Natural Habitat Adventures and stayed in what I tell my friends the best "glamping" experience ever. The individual pullman-type sleeping accommodations are practical and comfortable. They offer you a...

Traveled with Natural Habitat Adventures and stayed a the Tundra Lodge - a mobile lodge placed on the tundra for the polar bear season. Good food, lots of bears, but the sleeping cubby holes are VERY small, so be warned. But, the trip was awesome and well worth the $$$.

If you go to Churchill, Manitoba to see the polar bears do not hesitate to stay at the tundra lodge. This is the true experience. There are choices including staying In the city which might be more comfortable but you won't get the full experience. You have to be off the tundra by four pm if you stay in town....

We stayed here through a tour with NatHab....there are many tours to pick from with them and other companies, but this is by far the best way to see the bears. Instead of staying in town...you are out on the tundra 24/7 with the bears. I also loved the fact that we were the ones enclosed and the bears were...

“all the rooms are the same - SMALL, the rooms near the club car get a lot of traffic noise. try to be away from that door.”

“It could be a hit and/or a miss. Some people like to be away from the bathrooms, others would want to be away from the doors, I even heard being too close to the furnace was too hot for some...If you are planning to go on a trip like that...be prepared with ear plugs to reduce noise and bring layers to keep you warm.”
