There was a bus load of Bingo players from PEI so the elevator was busy and crowded so we chose for heath reasons to use stairs. Had a few issues with cleanliness but was resolved by helpful Management
This hotel is in a good location close to the highway. Quiet overnight in a comfortable room. The breakfast was the best we have had in a Holiday Inn in many years. Perhaps at least as good as the HI in Raleigh NC.
Great place to stay. There's lots of variety for breakfast. The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a nice hotel close to the malls and botanical Garden.
There was a bit if a mix-up and we were accidentally booked here instead of the conference hotel we were supposed to be at. Then, there were problems with getting cabs to and fro. I was completely frazzled and at my wits’ end. Lois, who I assume is a manager there (or SHOULD BE) was the epitome of kindness and graciousness. She even went so far as to give us a ride to our destination. This act totally turned around my experience and made me appreciate how nice the people of NB are. Btw, before we left to be where we were supposed to be, I checked out my room. Very nice suite!
We were very pleased with our room at the Holiday Inn. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel had a good selection for the complimentary breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Had a 1 night stay while passing through on a road trip. The location is convenient and only a couple minutes from the highway. The hotel itself seems to be nicely updated. The room was clean and in generally good condition. Bed was comfortable and the only problem was that the bathroom sink was draining very slowly. It wasn’t bad enough for me to need service and I just mentioned it on check out. Breakfast was included with the rate (standard for Holiday Inn Express) and was delicious. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and home fries, and omelettes were all there as well as a hot pancake maker and warm cinnamon rolls. They had Greek yogurt which was nice. Usually included hotel breakfasts are an afterthought but at this place the food was as good or better than what actual restaurants serve. The eating area was also huge with ample seating and no crowding.…
Steps from Botanic Garden / Odell Park trails an Old growth forest. Ideal place to hike /bike after long hours behind the wheel. the trails themselves need more info stations and upgrade to the trail identification.
Perfect spot to stop overnight. Close to highway but very quiet. Good service and breakfast. Only small issue was that I had requested quiet room on top floor and was allocated one on a lower floor even though one was available - managed to sort out and get room I had asked for originally
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Fredericton, New Brunswick. A couple of bumps along the way. When we checked in, we were assigned a room that another couple was already staying in. Almost walked in on them! Then, our key card didn't work a few times. Eventually, the hotel team upgraded us to a suite for all of the challenges we experienced. The breakfast was exceptional. So surprised at the variety, quality, and amount of food for a Holiday Inn. The lady who looks after the breakfast program is exceptional!
Standard chain hotel. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. I would have rated it higher but there was virtually no soundproofing between rooms or between floors, and I was kept awake well into the night by barking dogs, someone upstairs rearranging furniture, a loud TV, plumbing noise, and inordinate amount of road noise from outside. Most hotels in this chain are better constructed and much quieter. Wouldn’t stay here again.
