The room was clean and staff was friendly. We checked in late night and they very very cooperative. Clean room and clean towels. The Motel is surrounded by nature and is right on the highway, which make is very accessible. Good value for money.
So denied free breakfast due to the room rate I paid on Expedia. Bathroom could certainly have been cleaner. Room smelled of smoke, no bedside lamps, no clock. There was a fridge however, it would not be my first choice when I need to stay in Fredericton again.
We traveled through Ontario to Nova Scotia staying in multiple motels along the way... This motel was the pits! The room had a no smoking sign on the door but the smell of smoke in the room was terrible. The room needs a good cleaning and some paint as a minimum. As you can see in my pictures the ceiling vent hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The back of the bathroom door was so dirty as was the tub. The walls had paint coming off. They list free breakfast. They had 6oz coffee cups, white bread for toast, day old or longer mini doughnuts, yogurt (i felt safe eating that) and cearal. A sign saying "milk is for cearal only, not for to drink". And orange coloured juice like drink, no oranges were harmed in making the juice rest assured. We ask the desk attendant for more coffee as we each had one cup, he ignored us. The air conditioner turned it's self off multiple times during the night so I had to get back up and turn it on. The sheets and towels looked clean 😊…
I was traveling on my way back to PEI and had to stay at this motel. At first, I was concerned to stay over just because of the bad reviews seen and it was my last option but I total had different experiences from what's seen and heard. The staff are very friendly, good breakfast and pretty clean room with comfy bed. At last, I had amazing experience and definitely recommend it.
Reserved nine rooms for 18 people each room was worse than the last took at least 11 tries to get my money back and if only I told him I wanted cash just give me cash I wanted to repair the woman who booked the room for me Shema would not come out and talk to me she stood behind the door texting and calling the person working the desk cowardly I would think so these rooms were so bad we couldn’t even spend the one night there that we wanted to I was just anybody looking for a hotel stay at the emergency shelter much nicer and cleaner I don’t believe people are allowed to run business this way and I will be reporting it to the better business
Stayed here when I was up in Fredericton for the dog show. It is a small and quaint motel, clean but getting a little dated. I had stayed here before for dogs shows and always enjoy my chats with the owner. Had a small bar fridge, TV and Wifi. Just needed a place to come to and crash at the end of the day. Yes, the furniture is getting a little old but the bed was comfy and given the price, I was ok with it.
The motel is very run down. Holes in the walls. Dirty carpet. Hardly any hot water in sink. Cigarette burns on bedspread although it is claimed no smoking permitted... Our family felt very uncomfortable staying. Will never go back.
We slept there on our road trip to PEI and Nova Scotia. We got there around 11:30 pm after a long drive from Montreal. This seemed like a right time to train the owner's mother to use the computer (a very nice lady though). Check in was agonizingly slow. There was some kind of mix up in our booking (not the motel's fault), so we got two double rooms, but we were 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids) so we had to sleep on the floor. One room was a smoking room, and smelled so bad we couldn't fall asleep (and this is with kids in the room!), I woke up with a burning throat as if I've been smoking the whole night. There were creepy crawlers in the bathtub, the door to the room couldn't lock. Very purely cleaned. We turned on the ceiling fan and the room snowed with dust. The only thing we liked was that breakfast was included in the price but it was stingy. …
Let's start off as I'm not a very picky person but when my husband and I went to check in we watched a cockroach climb from the computer screen to the counter and it walked around while the gentleman was dealing with another customer before us.. so when the gentleman was done with the other customer he checked us in (figured maybe it's just the main building that has bug problems) So my husband and I go to inspect the room before we bring our luggage in (I always do that "just in case") I pulled back the comforter and there's blood on the inside of it, pull the sheets back and luckily no bed bugs, there was some type of yellow stuff on the door frame a squished bug on the floor. I was so grossed out I told my husband I'd rather sleep in the truck!! Let's just say we checked out in a quick hurry and left! Forgot to mention, While checking out there was the cockroach roaming around on their desk wall and I killed it! Yuck!…
I can't say what this place is like as I never got to stay here. My car broke down and I could not make it to the motel for the night I booked. Of course, there was no cancellation policy so I had to pay for the night that I was not able to be there. However, when I checked my VISA statement they had charged me twice! I called and they said they would take care of it. I have had to call back since nothing was done and no one called me back and still no luck in getting the charge reversed from my card. Beware!!
