We booked this place for 2 nights before flying back to Mexico. It is not close to the airport and is not in the downtown core but, it is close to shopping and a ton of restaurants. First the good: 1 - easy to find 2 - friendly staff 3 - clean well appointed room 4 - firm comfortable bed 5 - great included breakfast 6 - walking distance to many places for dining, shopping etc. 7 - great deal for the price 8 - Lots of hot water for long showers 9 - mask rules enforced 10 - really good in room internet The not so good: 1 - Not convenient for getting to downtown if you do not have a car 2 - If you want to watch some TV - forget about the listing channel - has no relationship to the actual channels 3 - something in the room (or around the room made a strange vibrating/gurgling noise (only noticeable as I sat at the desk writing this). 4 - the A/C was very noisy. The bad: No airport shuttle We enjoyed the first morning breakfast, having provided our proof of vaccination the day before, when we checked in. As well, since we had an early morning flight the next day, we were provided with breakfast to go. A welcome treat that saved us both time and money the day of our flight. We will definitely book here again.

this was a one night stay on the way to Halifax. We checked in fairly late and were given a very nice room/it looks like the rooms have all been fully renovated. Very comfortable beds and new carpets. Bathroom was adequate. Breakfast was included next morning but served rather than being a buffet, due to covid. Inconsistent regulations with some hotels serving breakfast and others offering a buffet self-serve.

This hotel inspired confidence with its attention to precautions to protect guests and staff from COVID risks while still providing a nice big comfortable room with lots of lights and electrical outlets, direct access to room from our parking spot, lots of hot water, and friendly helpful service despite the demands of these challenging days.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had staying in this type of hotel which I do fairly frequently. Check-in took all of an hour. I booked through Booking.com and then the front desk wanted a $250 damage deposit. They said it was for incidentals, but in a hotel with no room service that was ridiculous. I have a Visa and a Mastercard. They both kept getting declined. I phoned both credit card companies. They both said my cards were fine and that they had no record of either being declined. So there is some glitch in your system which still hasn't been straightened out, but they ultimately gave me my key after giving $250 with my debit card. Then I went to the room. Although it was cold and rainy out the a/c was on and the temperature was 16. It took over an hour to get the room up to a decent temperature by which time I was thoroughly chilled and miserable. Considering the weather, the heat should have been on. And the TV. Nice big flat screen. But every time I changed channels there was a 5 second delay for the new station to load. It made scrolling through to find something to watch completely frustrating. So much for watching TV. And the morning checkout. Because I had paid the damage deposit by debit they wouldn't return it before sending a staff member to check my room. Treating a guest like a 14 year old isn't the way to make them feel welcome and appreciated. Michael O'Brien

I have travelled enough to know when I am at a property where ownership and staff care - this one of them. Excellent Property. We had king room on first floor with drive- up. Room spotless, and re done recently. Great shower so new and clean it shined. No issues with noise and both my wife and I commented about the comfort of the bed. They didn’t give in to the accountants because of Covid and hide behind that rational to cheapen the breakfast - they made it safe and still give a full offering. It was typical but very good. One suggestion- more TV channels. Great property good price great staff - highly recommend
