Manager was able to accommodate me in one of the King Suites - last minute - at a very reasonable price. Was a little disappointed to learn they no longer do a hot breakfast. Just continental. In the end, we slept in anyway. The Room was on the top floor, so not accessible for older or infirm people. Room was...

Have to say first that it's an amazing location just a short walk down over the hill to all the nightlife or a few $$ cab. Now on to the accommodation, the building is a beautiful heritage Victorian, inside the front doors beautiful original flooring, as you walk up the stairs old stain glass windows that the owner must of...

Minutes walk from all the downtown sites and shopping, friendly staff, great cooked breakfast, lovely large clean room, Wi-Fi, parking. Definitely would stay there again next trip to Newfoundland. Our room was very elegant with bathtub and Queen size bed.

We Stayed just 2 nights this past week, the house offers easy access for walking the downtown area. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable, nice linens, along with friendly staff. Could certainly stay here again on our next visit to the city.

Because there was a mix up with booking.com we could stay at the cabot house instead of the abba inn. We were glad to stay here in the very spacious room. The breakfast was more than very good. There was a lot to choose from. I just didn't like their orange juice. The parking lot is pretty small. It is...

Perfect location, parking on site, large clean & comfortable room with ensuite, easy check-in, excellent "full" breakfast with many options and exactly what you would expect for Newfoundland hospitality! As a Newfoundlander listening to our host give tips and guidance to other guests, I have to say that he was on the mark each and every time! Thanks Neil for...

We have just completed a three day stay in the Cabot House. Great location close to downtown and walking distance to many sights in St. John's. Older character home that has been updated and has a great layout for a B &B. The negatives unfortunately are many from rooms that have more "dust bunnies" than most rabbit farms (generally very...

We were on the top floor, room 8. Very large and comfortable, good value. But - when Neil cooked breakfast, it was great. When someone else did, not quite the same in quantity or originality. Also - not enough seats for everyone, so if you came down early for breakfast, you got food right away, but otherwise it might be...

The rates are low in the winter, so we used this B&B for a weekend in the city. The breakfast was tasty and the bed was ok, However, the room, although elegant at one time, looked a little worn and frayed. And we checked in at 1 pm, and the room didn't get warm until 10 pm!
