I have always wanted to stay at the Winterholme and I got the opportunity to do so this past summer. Overall, we had a good stay but I thought the room was pricey for a B&B. The room was quite spacious but was a bit drab and could have used a paint job and some updated linens. Breakfast was okay,...

I stumbled across this B&B as I searched for a spa to give my wife a certificate to for our 19th anniversary.  I was going to get the certificate and a night at a local hotel, instead I got a bonus of a night and a couples massage in one beautiful spot.  I began by e-mailing Winterholme to see if they...

Recently I went to the Winterholme Spa for a little relaxation. I had a body scrub and a pedicure. The room where the body scrub was done was extremely relaxing and cozy. The room where I had the pedicure was very comfortable. They brought me tea during my pedi, and a glass of water after my scrub. Lots of magazines...

We stayed at Winterholme for 2 nights and really enjoyed everything about our stay there. The home was gorgeous with alot of the original wood detailing and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It was like staying at a friends house rather then a hotel. Very romantic with the fireplace and jacuzzi, I will definitely return!

Winterholme is a beautiful Heritage House that needs some upgrading. The public spaces are beautiful. The rooms are large but have been modified in very awkward ways. The modern jacuzzi tubs are very out of place in the old rooms. In at least one room, the tub is in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. Some old fixtures need modernizing....

If you want to stay at a place that is different from the norm stay here. We stayed in the Oak Suite. It was amazing!! The wood work and high ceilings made the room. The staff are wonderful and will do anything to help. Some reviews complained about the older style but that is what we loved! You can always...

We stayed in the Winterholme for the first night of our trip to St. John's. The room was absolutely beautiful -- huge comfortable bed, jacuzzi, and a bathroom of the period of the house (early 1900's). The room overlooked a park, and the Inn is just a few blocks away from the downtown activity of the city. The Inn is...

My husband and I spent three nights at Winterholme. We were a bit disappointed to learn of construction taking place right behind our room. We had not been given any heads up about it. But the staff was very friendly and helpful and the building is beautiful and full of history. It is a bit outdated but certainly has lots...

Beautifully kept rooms and elegant everywhere inside. The personnel were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, including finding us places to stay outside of St John's. Quiet and very central for walking to various historical sites.
