Pros: Overall this B&B was in a good location that gave us easy access to the lake. We also thought the breakfast was good and we enjoyed our conversation with both Mike and Tessa. Fireplace was awesome after long walks in the cold. Good to know: water is scarce in the area so you will need to conserve water e.g....

Mark & Tessa were great hosts! Very laid back and accommodating to our needs. Tessa served up some fantastic breakfast each morning! We're talking fresh fruits, omelette, French toast, yogurt, toast, bacon & eggs something different each day! She even went out of the way to pack us sandwiches for our 4am departure. Very knowledgeable about where to catch the...

After sending a couple of emails prior to our arrival, we arrived to a surprised Tessa. All I can say is that it do not look like the photo on trip advisor. The house was very clutter & needed a good vac, dust & clean. My Auntie wouldn't even sit down. After 20 minutes we left & went to a...

What a great stay here with a professional photographer who devoted to serve her guest with patience and care. Tessa spent over half an hour on introducting the house, the city and the places that we probably could see aurora. She is so caring that she even lent her boots to us for chasing aurora at midnight to prevent us...

The location is perfect to me, a little bit far away from downtown to have more quiet and clam space. The breakfast is awesome. Tessa shared a bunch of information about Yellowknife, which helped us to have unexpected and wonderful experience in this four days trip. The house is cozy and the collections is a must see. We joined aurora...

I stayed for 4 nights, Tessa's great and considerate. She advised me on how and where to catch the aurora, made sure I had enough clothes and she lent me her gears. She knew I stayed up late at night for aurora so she's never rushed me for my breakfast time. Just about 3-4 minutes walk you'll get on the...

I stayed in Blue Raven B&B for 3 nights. The house is clean and comfortable. It located in old town, and several spots nearby the house is suitable for aurora viewing. Tessa is nice and helpful, she provided some useful information to me during my stay in YK. More importantly she is a photographer and she provided advice for shooting...

We loved staying here for 5 nights with the terrific breakfasts, helpful guidance and relaxed atmosphere. Tessa made us feel like guests in her home and gave us lots of wise advice and insight when we asked. She had a map ready and some suggestions for dinner when we arrived. We were within walking distance of several nice restaurants (Dancing...

We stayed with Tessa for 4 nights. She gave us a quick overview of Yellowknife with a map as soon as we arrived which I found very helpful. She made fabulous breakfasts including accommodating my food allergies. The house is clean, the duvets warm, the common areas are inviting and there's a viewing area down the block on Great Slave...
