This hotel could use some updates but it was clean with excellent service and great service. The restaurant in the hotel was great for breakfast, didn't eat any other meals there. The service is outstanding and we were treated so well.
Facility is a little tired. Rooms were refreshed with (faux) hardwood floors a few years ago and beds are comfortable. Rooms have mini-fridges. Convenient location close to the highway, University, food and drink options. Short drive to middle of town.
We stayed twice at the Claymore Inn on our way to and coming back from Newfoundland.
The Claymore has an EV charging station on the back side of the building and this was the primary reason for our choosing this property.
