The front counter staff was so helpful and friendly. I seen his picture on the employee of the month. The award was well deserved. I can’t remember his name though. He worked overnight Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Touring the beautiful province of Nova Scotia and so far we stayed in 6 hotels. This one can’t come close to any regarding the ultimate disappointment. Being a known brand, I guess I expected more. The front desk staff made me feel like I was bothering her during checkin. No instructions on the pool use, room cleaning, how the included breakfast works etc. Entered our room to find the drapes hanging off the rail, hooks missing. Tried the fridge and it was broken. Called front desk and had 2 maintenance guys, both very friendly guys, in within 5 minutes. Should’ve all been checked for guests PRIOR to arrival. Later, tried the lamp and no go. Bathroom is dark and dingey. Had a hell of a time switching shower head to faucet in the tub and, minimal hot water. Next day, left room at 9:am to allow staff time to refresh room. Got back at 2:30 and nobody came to the room since we left 5 hours prior. Asked about cleaning daily to find they don’t, unless you ask. Full garage bins, no refresh of coffee or cups…. Never Again and I can’t say enough about how dissatisfied I was. I will be emailing the manager as well.

I learnt the hard way. The room we had was extremely dirty. It had a musty smell. The carpet was dirty and stained. The headboards were so dusty. The toilet bowl had poop stains from I don’t know when.when we requested for the room to be cleaned because we had children with allergies, very little was done. Never again.

Friendly Staff, pet friendly… cleanliness of room lacked and it was strictly a trio of pleasure to get away… before I booked I asked about the hot tub was told everything was open and working. It wasn’t.

Well to start off it took an hour and a half to check in, then we go to the desk after waiting in line and they said my room that I booked online was $40.00 more. When I showed the lady at the desk my email with the price she said well it’s this price now, then after being at the desk for 30 minutes we went to our room where the beds weren’t made. Not happy at all and then I took my shoes off to get dressed and I stepped on a staple and it drove up my foot. And I was woke up at 5:30 by screaming children running up the hall. I will not book again.
