I had the privelege of staying at A Paradise Found on 1 August, 2010 while on a motorcycle tour across Canada. Being a "west coast boy", this was the first time to stay in Cape Breton and I couldn't have had a better introduction to Cape Breton hospitality than at this delightful B & B. The hosts, Rick and Connie... More

The hosts were the best, seemed like family. There was a great feeling chatting in the morning at breakfast and in the eveing with the hosts and other guests. Breakfast was excellent, all suggestions for activities were on the mark, the room was small. Overall, if you are staying in Sydney, I definitely recommend.

Excellent B and B. Rick sent us information on the area before we arrived which helped us plan our stay. We did everything he and Connie recommended, sights, restaurants, walks etc. and found it all to be just as they described. They are a mine of information on the entire region and provided us with notated maps, even as we... More

The service and friendliness made us feel so good. The room with private bath was spacious and beautiful. The breakfasts were 5 star. The location is close to everything and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. The home is beautiful and the owners think of every convenience. This is the second time we have stayed there and we would... More

We stayed here on August 3-4th, and had a GREAT time. Rick and Connie really look out for you, make you feel like you are their own. Have really good suggestions on what all to do, see, where to eat, etc. etc, The inn is located in a quiet part of town, yet close enough that we could walk to... More

Coming to Canada from England for the first time, we wern't sure what to expect in the New World. Britain invented the B&B, and we have stayed in plenty across England and Scotland over the years. Most are good, a few are just in it for the money. But this B&B showed up all the olde worlde places we have... More

VERY many great points on this stay. 1. Rick and Connie are excellent hosts and the breakfasts will not be equalled ANYWHERE else. 2. Most comfortable bed on our 7 day trip was here in the Hydrangea Room. 3. Private bath for each room which is not common for a B&B. 4. Location is in a residential area which means... More
