Linda, the hostess, gave us an excellent service. The cottage is warm, clean, and nice place for us to spend a night. It just beside the bay and have very good view. Btw, Linda also gave us very much information about the whale watching. You can ask anything you want.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay with us. We understand how busy life today can be. Isn't the view awesome! I never tire of looking out over Saint Mary's Bay when I accompany our guests to their cottage for the first time. The view still fascinates me. Please do not hesitate to ask any question...

This is a great place for a bit of a getaway. I have stayed 2x now and am booked for another. The cottages are beautifully crafted with everything you could possibly need. There's ample opportunity just to be by yourself and do your own thing or spend your evenings around the common fire pit. There's beach combing, sight seeing, hiking,...

We look forward to your return visit. I think that is in Sept. I hope we have a nice summer for evening bonfires. It is always so much fun to sit around the fire with the waves washing on shore. Living off grid isn't so bad when you have propane appliances. I am happy to hear you found everything you...

We stayed in June, as out cottage was adorable. The cottages are off grid, but have generators and a full kitchen so we lacked nothing. There is no tv which was perfect because our cottage had board games and books. We played board games and got to disconnect from technology and reconnect with one another. Ocean was a short walk...

Isn't it amazing how much power we can live without! It sounds like you found every thing you needed (dishes, pots, serving dishes, utensils) in the kitchen. We need technology but we also need to disconnect from time to time. Families need time to reconnect with each other to talk and do things as a close group, like board and...

Our family of 5 stayed in Serenity Cottage for just one night on our way to whale watch the next day in Tiverton. We loved the experience. Linda was extremely helpful on the phone before our visit and showed us how to get to the cottage and how everything worked when we arrived. The cottage is at the bottom of...

The road to the cottages seems like a long way but after you do the trip a couple of times it is not so bad. Watching for and seeing wildlife on the road to the cottages makes for a fun drive. I am happy you were able to watch the porpoise play and fish. What a way to start your...

Spent the weekend there and it was amazing...great views...great people...amazing to wake up to. Rustic Cabins with no power lines...propane stove, heat, hot water tank, and fridge which all work exceptionally well. There is a generator that turns on from the inside with the flick of a switch. Really amazing place...Quite a little germ! The owners Dave and Linda are...

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. It is meeting great folks like you that make it all worth while. I never tire of seeing the bay as you top the hill or stand on the deck of one of the cottages. They all have such an amazing view. Driving the road to the cottages is...

This is our fourth trip to Graham's Pioneer Retreat, and we're already looking forward to our next trip there! Our stays keep getting longer each time, so that should give a big hint that this place is the best! Can't say enough good things about Graham's: hosts Dave and Linda are so friendly and go out of their way to...

It is so nice the way you say the intrusion of t.v. and internet. They are both necessities in today's world but it is wonderful to get away from them even for a short time. Spending time with loved ones and enjoying what Mother Nature has to offer, that we often take for granted, is what a vacation is all...

We stayed for four glorious days of rest and relaxation. Our cottage was aptly named "Tranquility" and what a perfect name it was. You could lay in bed at night and listen to the waves breaking on the shoreline. Spend the morning on the deck drinking coffee sitting in the Adirondacks and we can't forget the gazebo...walk out the patio...

We are so happy you were able to get-away and enjoy 4 days of relaxation. We don't need a wind to hear the waves wash on shore, there is enough movement with the 28ft. tide. Even though the Bay of Fundy feeds our smaller bay, the water is warmer on this side of Digby Neck. I recommend beach shoes for...

The Serenity cottage was great (clean/new) and slept 5 comfortably (and would sleep 6). This is a place to get away from your electronics and get "off the grid" for a few days. The view was incredible and the silence was amazing (tip: keep the the generator use to a minimum and you will appreciate the place more). The fold...
