The breakfast was delicious and our host was incredible! We loved our room - it was clean, lovely and delightful. We were pleased with the amenities - the five TV and free Wi-Fi were really appreciated. So was the recommendation for dinner. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Husband was right on with breakfast (which was delicious) and hostess, wife, was especially good at knowing exactly what to do in and around Halifax. Only thing to be aware of, if it is warm temperature in July there is no A/C. We are from Florida and we truely missed it. There are fans but we had to get up...

Katia (Kathy? Kasia?) and Danial, plus their infant Victoria were lovely hosts. We were warmly greeted, and shown to our room (the "Royal Suite" -- king bed, Jacuzzi tub, small sitting area). This is an "almost" rating. It was almost good, it had almost all the points I'd expect for a four or five star rating, it was almost what...

We had originally booked a stay at this bed and breakfast for July 8, 9 and 10 but ended up staying only one night due to the conditions of the premise. We arrived on the Friday afternoon and were greeted by the owners who were outside having a drink with another guest. Parking was extremely tight and my initial reaction...

The folks were warm and welcoming. Very hospitable and nice location. Close to downtown without crossing the bridge (toll fees). The room was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend accommodations. Breakfast was awesome too!

Good place but here a few comments : have glasses in the room , more soap, be more ponctual when serving breakfast and offer a different menu to people who had stayed at your BB. Lastly , offer maple instead of corn syrup . Thanks

My son and I recently stayed at the Ascendence Harbourside Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Halifax. We loved the owners who were cheerfully helpful on every level. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were quite good with cheerful adaptations made for a Celiac diet. Although the Ascendence was not in the main part of Halifax, it was...

We really enjoyed ourstay! Will recommend this B&B to anyone who passes through Halifax. The hosts were very welcoming, and their stories and teachings of Halifax were really interesting! We will for sure stay at this B&B again!

Kasia and Daniel were gracious and very friendly hosts. Breakfasts were very good and enjoyed dining with other guests at the large dining room table. The area available in the home to guests was limited to the dining room and a small entry room. There was no yard accessibility for guests as the yard was very small, and there is...

I had booked this guest house as it looked charming and I thought it would offer an alternative to a modern hotel. Given its age I did not expect modern, rather faded grandeur but it turned out to be run down . Could have lived with this as our bedroom and bathroom were clean and as expected. Unfortunately the stairs...
