The Pebble is a family home in the NW Arm area of Halifax, so its quiet and with views over the water. This part of Halifax has large family homes in tree-lined streets, with leafy blocks, gardens and plenty of privacy. The B&B is beautifully appointed with lovely inclusions, the best linen and toiletries, plenty of books and all the... More

My wife and I stayed here for the final four nights stay on a 16 day holiday to the maritimes, our first to this area of the country. My wife did all of the research and we anticipated a good stay. We had a great stay, the breakfasts were extremely good, the room was more than comfortable and the shower... More

The Pebble Band B is a wonderful, impeccably clean and luxurious residence. The location is ideal and Liz provided wonderful company during our stay. The room was 5 star quality and nothing was overlooked. The food was delicious and plentiful. We would not hesitate to recommend The Pebble to anyone. Thank you Liz for making our stay in Halifax memorable.

If you are visiting Halifax, and have a car, I can think of no better place to stay for the duration of your visit. (Remember, when looking up hotel rates that parking and breakfast are not included!) At the Pebble, parking is on a very quiet dead-end street, and essentially the entire the city of Halifax is within no more... More

Wonderful room (actually more like a suite) and incredible breakfast. The location was in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to downtown. Liz was so friendly and helpful. It was a delight just to meet her

I would like to start out that we didn't want to leave. Liz was such a great hostess and a suburb cook. We are still talking about her steel cut oatmeal dish several days later. The rooms were clean, comfortable and even had Molton Brown bath products. Let me tell you that was worth the price of the room by... More

The Pebble is so pleasantly done and extremely comfortable. Rooms are urban tasteful with all the right touches you would expect from a 5 star boutique B&B. Impeccably clean (each and every corner because anyone can keep the centers of the room clean!). Crisp modern linens and towels, with plenty of space to spread out throughout your room with huge... Dog friendly understates the welcome Katie got from Liz and her 2 dogs. Liz operates the best, cleanest and most friendly B&B we have ever stayed in - an incredible experience in every way. The breakfast was UNBELIEVEABLE ! Sonny Kern

the pebble is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood steps from the northwest arm of Halifax Harbour. Liz is a wonderful hostess who quickly makes you feel at home. Mornings begin with delicious breakfasts made on her beloved AGA stove and wonderful conversation with Liz and any other guests. Liz is a great source of information about restaurants and... More
