We stayed one night in Seashell and one night in Max's Landing. Both were very good. Max's was ground floor with an outside sitting area. Seashell upstairs with a balcony. Seashell a big King bed and Max's a queen bed. We preferred Max's however because of the large sitting area and full kitchen facilities. Michelle and her mom are a...

Room was nice, although shower was small. Bed was comfortable. Quiet balcony with a nice breeze. Walking distance of restaurants and the ship Hector that brought the first boatload of Scots over in 1773. Highlight was the friendly welcome and lively home cooked breakfast.

Older home (two adjacent houses, actually) converted into a B&B. Owners (mother & daughter) are delightful and Mom is a wonderful cook and baker. Housekeeping was super! Three (3) rooms in Main Building, all upstairs. 2nd building has one ground-floor room (if you're mobility challenged) plus two (2) others, all with Balconies. Our room, SeaShell, is in the Main Bldg...

This was our last stop on our fly-drive holiday in the Maritimes and we could not have wished for somewhere more friendly and welcoming. On our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Michelle and given lots of information about the area and the best places to eat etc. Our room was large, comfortable and clean but the bathroom was a...

We stayed at the Evening Sail in July on the first night of our honeymoon. We got there really late, but everything was beautifully prepare for us and we felt so welcome! The bed was extremely comfortable. The highlight, though, was probably the amazing gluten-free breakfast, even including two scones to take away for a snack. We would definitely recommend...

Michelle and Gail were so friendly and welcoming, and served us the most delicious baked goods for breakfast. They were knowledgeable about places to see and things to do in the lovely area. We loved our room - comfortable and clean, but agree that the bathroom was a bit small. Also, if you have a problem carrying luggage up stairs,...

This is a must-see in Nova Scotia!! The moment you enter the home, you're greeted by the ever-so-friendly and cheery, Michelle! We stayed in the Seashell room. The most comfortable king bed I've ever slept in! The room was immaculate! Wonderful, special features in the room make it obvious Michelle and her mother take pride in this B and B!...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Evening Sail B&B. Michelle and her mother, Gail, are excellent hostesses. Michelle greeted us at the door, showed us to our room and provided helpful suggestion for dinner. Gail is a fabulous cook. Special shout out for her yummy pumpkin muffins and decadent white chocolate scones. Michelle even provided bags so...

Michelle and her Mom were perfect hosts. The breakfast included delicious homemade muffins and a hot entree if you wanted. The atmosphere was warm and inclusive. The room was quite large and comfortable with two large wing back chairs, a private deck and queen sized bed. There were many small thoughtful touches. The only (minor) drawback was that ensuite bath...
