Very Clean, friendly B&B. Michelle is a great host with lots of friendly energy..Just what you need when you are far away from home. Clean rooms with a great balcony with cosy chairs to sit out. All their recommendation were awesome for the small town on Pictou Nova Scotia. Lots of history and they are renovating the small town..it is...

My wife and I stayed at the Evening Sail on 29 July, in the Seashell room, complete with king size bed and external deck, all clean and well presented. The property is quite quirky which matched the outgoing personalities of hosts Michelle and Gail. The 'farmhouse' style breakfast of all guests sitting round a communal table is brilliant for an...

We stayed here over 2 years ago and decided to write a review after we had been ranking the best B&B's that we had stayed in, the entire family agreed that this was the best. The rooms were very spacious, decorated to a high standard and providing good facilities. The breakfast was delicious, especially enjoying the freshly baked pastries. The...

We stayed in the Jacob's Dory room, which was upstairs in the separate building. What a wonderful place to stay! Huge room with 2 double beds, a living room area, and a kitchen. We had a great view from the balcony. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast was quite yummy and the conversation was lively. Coffee, juice, homemade muffins and...

We stayed one night solely to get an early ferry to PEI, and we had no expectation that this B&B would be as wonderful as it was. The home was charming, Michelle and Gail (mother and daughter innkeepers) were gracious and welcoming - just really really nice people to get to know. Our lovely room was on the second floor...

Unfortunately, only one night's stay on our way through, but Jacob's Dory (our room) was lovely. Nautical decorations throughout made for a cozy, whimsical atmosphere. Super comfortable bed-- best sleep of my entire eight-day tour. Breakfast at the communal table the next morning was really wonderful. Michelle and Gail sat down and chatted with their guests. Gail's home-baked treats are...

This was an excellent experience after a fairly long line of great experiences in various b & bs around the province. Breakfast was particularly fine -- the food and the company. Room was funky country, extremely clean.

We were in Pictou for a quick 4 days long week end. We choose Pictou as it was in the middle of Nova Scotia, close to things we had the time to do in 4 days. I selected Evening Sail B&B based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed at all. We stayed there 3 nights and...

We visited the small town of Pictou as part of a fly drive trip around Nova Scotia and stayed for one night at The Evening Sail B&B. Our hosts Michelle and her Mum Gail run the B&B and could not have been more welcoming. Helpful advice on what to do and where to eat, and a really charming friendly approach....

We stayed one night at Evening Sail, as Pictou was a good stopover point in our journey from Ingonish to PEI...and what a lovely night it was! Michelle greeted us right when we walked in the door, and gave us a very good overview of how things worked at Evening Sail and helpful recommendations of restaurants to try for dinner....
