It's like going to a grown-up camp that the children are allowed to go to. The restaurant has wonderful food. There's a beach area that children and adults can build a fire and roast marshmallows and make s'mores at night. The cabins are authentic and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay for a friend's wedding. The rustic cottage was well maintained, and the view to the oceanside was absolutely wonderful. The facilities included paddleboat, kayaks, canoe, beach, volleyball court and pool.

We stayed one night in the "motel units" after finding this outside the town of Pictou. It is a true family vacation destination with a main lodge housing a dining room overlooking the Northumberland Bay and Prince Edward Island in the distance. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable, the dining room served white table cloth dinners or you can...

Nice accommodations in Cabin 19. Good quality beds/ linens and towels. Kitchen has basics needed. Restaurant had great food. One negative were flies in the cabin but it may just have been the season. Good location for day trips throughout Nova Scotia.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a very nice, old rustic inn that has been well maintained. Our lodge had two bedrooms...one with king sized bed and one with a queen. A reasonably large Irving area was also part of the cottage, although there were only the two of us...it could easily accommodate 2 more adults. We included breakfast...

Our extended family of 16 stayed in this fabulous resort from August 24 through to August 28, 2015. Our immediate family of 4 stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage. Each room has a bathroom which was quite convenient. The beds were very comfy. My favourite part of the cottage though was the screened-in Muskoka room overlooking the lake and looking...

I recently got married at Pictou Lodge and cannot say enough great things. The facility is fabulous, the staff were exceptional and the food was delicious. Everyone at the wedding had a great time and the staff worked super hard to ensure we had a great time as well. We cannot wait to come back!!!

The meals were very nice. But our room had no AC. It was 26 degrees in our room and we couldn't sleep. When contacting them they were very ignorant and would do a thing for us. Never coming back. They recommended we leave. The AC units in the room need to be upgraded. Very very difficult to sleep

Dear Matthew, I apologize again that the air conditioner did not meet your standards. It was indeed a hot week! I am sorry to hear the extra mobile air conditioner did not help as well. We did try everything we could to assist, but unfortunately we did not meet your expectations. Sorry we could not make your stay more comfortable.

We just stumbled onto Pictou Lodge during a recent outing to Nova Scotia from our home in PEI. We have lived close to this lodge for over 40 years, but had never actually seen it. We asked if we could have dinner in the beautiful oceanside dining room, and the hostess said "Sure...come in!" The staff was very professional and...
