As a Group Leader for the 55 plus crowd, I had the opportunity to stay at Arctic Watch Lodge. It was a unique and memorable experience in so many ways. I harbor vivid recollections of this warm, welcoming, quite luxurious outpost nestled on the shores of Cunningham Inlet in this otherwise harsh High Arctic environment. From Beluga whales to muskox;...

We have visited Arctic Watch twice, July 2014 and July 2016, and had an experience of a life time on both occasions. The accommodations were rustic, but very comfortable, and the food was first-class. Most of all, the experienced staff and their service was superb, and really made a difference to our Arctic experience! There was lots to do each...

I loved the remoteness of Somerset Island and found it hard to be pulled away from the belugas. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. I have nutritional issues and the staff went above and beyond making delicious alternatives. No one was ever left out. There were a variety of activities to chose from and even the option to stay...

I had the privilege to visit one of the most remote region of the Canadian Arctic during the summer of 2016, Somerset Island! The only way to visit this incredible region is to stay at the Arctic Watch Lodge, ran by the Weber family, passionate polar explorers family! During my stay, we had the incredible opportunity to see 500 beluga...

Add this to your bucket list because it is worth every penny. Flying in we saw hundreds of beluga whales in the bay and the staff was there to welcome us when we landed. The food is exceptional and the staff makes each and every outing exciting and interesting. We saw Beluga Whales, Musk Ox, Hawks, Arctic Hare, Snowy Owls...

All expectations were met and then some! We were very lucky: we got to see so many whales! The trip of a lifetime! Chef Justin Tse and his team cooked fabulous meals ending in great desserts - too much good stuff! One cannot loose weight on such good food! They had lovely wines as well. The tours were definitely physically...

July 10-17, 2015 I visited the high Canadian Arctic and spent one week at Arctic Watch Lodge! It was heavenly! I was immediately transported to a magical place where the cares of my city life slipped away. I was invigorated by the 24 hour sunlight and I was in awe watching the hundreds of beluga whales playing in Cunningham inlet.The...

I can not say enough positive things about the well oiled machine that is The Arctic Watch Lodge. This is a lodge, not a 5star resort. It's a 5 star tented camp though. The activities, which are mostly all included outside of fishing, and that's just an inexpensive license. They have great gear for all the activities; kayaking, rafting, ATV....

We were supposed to go to Arctic Watch this summer. They collected our deposit for a three week trip and gave us a price in writing. New ownership took over. We were told we could no longer come for three weeks and that the price for two weeks would be more than our original quote. We accepted their offer of...

I was looking for a unique trip and found it when I stumbled across Arctic Watch. This was both my first arctic visit and active tour, and I couldn't have enjoyed the experience more. Logistically a tour like this would be extremely complex to organise and execute but the Weber family pulled it off. Our group experienced great weather, ideal...
