Decent stay. Room was clean but needed some work. Carpet was broken in a few places. Otherwise everything else worked as it should. Elevator didn't work. Bringing coolers up and down the stairs was ridiculous. Breakfast was joke. Toasters didn't work. Coffee was coloured water.. literally. Would stay again but only in a pinch.
On our bi-annual trip to Georgian Bay in Canada, we decided to stop for the night after crossing the border into Canada. Comfort Inn turned out to be a good choice. It's less than a mile across the border, and literally right next to the QEW. A little tricky to find their driveway, as you literally drive through a residential area, but just trust your GPS. Staff were nice, rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was a little weak, but covid has changed all that. The hotel is also close to a main road that has plenty of restaurants for a quick & easy dinner. We'll plan to stay here again on our next trip.
It really does feel like you’re heading into someone’s backyard when you’re coming off of the QEW to get there, but it was a perfectly pleasant experience. I asked for a room on the non-highway side of the building when I booked and this was accommodated. The room was clean and comfortable and I slept well. The curtains didn’t overlap so some light came in, so if you’re up with the sun like me (and don’t necessarily want to be), I would bring an eyeshade. It was handily near amenities such as Sobeys, Dollarama, Walmart, McDonalds etc. That were either walkable or a short drive. The staff was helpful and pleasant and I would go back again if I’m in the area.
We made a reservation at the Comfort Inn as it was close to cross the border into United States. We had a tiring travel day to get there and only planned to sleep a few hours and continue our journey. Things were going great we curled up for an early night when the room next door had guests arrive. These guests were loud and we could practically hear every word they said. The motel wasn’t busy and my suggestion would be to book every other room to eliminate that problem. Our night was shot and we got about two hours rest ;(. The room however was clean and had very comfortable beds and pillows. The whole evening reminded me why I hate motels though. Couldn’t get on wifi have no idea why. Had we gotten a good nights sleep I would have given five stars.
The hotel is under new management and it shows. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and they are always nice and friendly. Stayed there with my dog and hotel is pet friendly. Rooms were clean and bathroom spacious. I would definitely stay there again
After a very long and stressful day, I decided to treat myself. Saw this Comfort Inn had rooms with a spa tub. So I decided to pay the extra, and get one. Booked in after 10:30 pm. Room was an 8 out of 10 for clean. A bit dated, but not discouraging. Filled the tub for a nice hot spa. Climbed in, sat down, then turned on the jets. The tub immediately filled with black mould like floaters. I stood up, and this black stuff was sticking to my skin. Went to the bathroom to have a shower to get this stuff off me. After showering, two of the three towels were dirty. Glad there was at least one clean towel. Brought this to the attention of the front desk, and they told me “the manager is not available and will be in soon.” Stayed the night, bed was clean. Upon checking out, asked to have the issue addressed. Showed them the video/photos, and said they weren’t authorized to do anything, and would have a manager call me. Two days have now passed, no call. So here is my review. …
We have always used the Comfort Inn places to stay and never been disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast is always fresh and tasty. Would recommend if you are travelling want a reasonably priced place to stay the Comfort Inn's are great.
I made reservation via my airlmiles. i showed receipt of payment with confirmation number. I was told that they could not located my reservation. i asked that reception contact manager. manager said they cannot do anything; i should contact airlmiles. airlmiles office closed on weekend! management did not even try to problem solve. it was extremeley frustrating as i had a confirmation email. i was on a bike trip and could not just bike to another location. i ended up paying for the room. The reception person felt bad and gave me a good rate. i was very dissappointed by management. On a different note, rooms smelled stale and pills were found on floor which means rooms were not cleaned thoroughly. overall would not recommend hotel.
The room was comfortable and the staff was very hospitable. I enjoyed my stay and slept well as the hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel was an easy drive to Toronto and Niagara Falls, but located in a serene small town with friendly people.
Seen comfort inn online during our travels to fort erie for $90.00 through their website and many others for the same price. Figured instead of booking online we will just go there. Upon arrival and booking our room she was charging $188 total after taxes and requesting a $200 deposit on top of that. Asked why so much when it says $90.00 online. Then Were told they do not have any of those rooms available for that discount. At the time of arrival there was 5 cars in the parking lot at 12:30 am. I am sure I was just getting ripped off. Refused to stay and went somewhere else. Lost my business.
