Went to visit my daughter who is on an exchange programme at McMaster University and the hotel is quite near, and the location is also good as it is not far from the highway. I found that staff to be friendly especially Richard, who was very informative. The room was clean and comfortable and whilst it was facing the road,...

The trip was business and this is near McMaster's University. So the location is easy, near freeway exit. Few minutes from McMasters (tho not necessarily walking distance). Easy to find driving from Toronto. Breakfast in AM was simple, but nice. Rooms facing away from freeway were not very noisy at night (Don't know about those facing freeway).

I had to stay in this hotel for one night, while getting ready for an exam I had the next morning. The staff were very friendly and responded effectively on my needs (I needed to have breakfast before the time the breakfast would have started and they let me have coffee and some cakes earlier than the opening time). The...

Hotel was okay - Front desk very unfriendly and unaccommodating. Pool was fun for the kids. Bathrooms were okay. Hallways were loud. Restaurant was good if you paid for it. The complimentary breakfast was a bit of a joke.

Not recommended. I had the room facing the street and barely sleep as you can hear trucks early on the morning. The staff barely smile to me when I chek-in and never say a word when I entered in the lobby.

We usually stay at the Visitor's Inn in Hamilton when we have business there. This time we had dinner at Paparellas, an in-house restaurant. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. I would definitely recommend you enjoy a meal there or they also deliver for room service if you want to be more casual. My husband's fish and chips...

We recently attended a wedding in Dundas Ontario at the Dundas Golf & Curling Club and the rooms were previously reserved by family. The rates were very good for the location so I expected it to be mediocre and when we pulled up I said "just as I thought". It seemed old and needing some outdoor work to be done...

The hotel looks small and not so nice until you go inside. It is fully renovated and has a great indoor pool to enjoy. We didn't make it to the breakfast but for the value and location it is now one of our favourites. Staff was very pleasant and nice with any questions we had. Would definitely return again. :)

Stayed here on business. Rooms are renovated, despite the aged exterior. Free parking. Has a pool and hot tub. The room I was in had a small kitchenette- very handy. Room size was on the smaller side but had a nice sized flat screen TV, work area and comfortable mattress. I was placed on the side of the hotel facing...

Recently my husband and I had to attend a funeral in Hamilton, Ontario. We didn't need an upscale hotel but wanted a nice one that wouldn't break the bank. I found Visitors Inn while doing a search online and found the reviews to be quite good. The pictures shown online were exactly as we found it. We were more than...
