It was a good location. the room (617) was decent, top floor, and over looked the water, pier and Confederation park. The not so good was the included continental breakfast, I'd skip it unless you really need coffee. There is not enough underground parking for all guests. The room had dirty, old worn carpet and bed was too hard. room...

We booked three months in advance for the night before move-in day at Queen's and our preferred hotels in Kingston were all fully booked, so we ended up at the Confederation Place Hotel which still had rooms. The front desk staff were friendly, but the hotel is really worn out. The carpets in the hallway were badly stained, the walls...

Lake Ontario is directly behind the hotel, a well kept park beside the hotel and city hall across the street, west on Ontario Street, just 100 yds. away. Plenty of restaurants and coffee places around. Lone Star right next door and Milestone just up the street, a 2 minute walk away. Breakfast was in a medium sized location with muffins,...

I was a bit concerned when I booked but it was a very good price considering location etc.....yes the parking garage is a bit of a nightmare to get in and out but it was secure....yes the carpets are a bit stained here and there but I never walk in any hotel room barefoot anyway.....yes it could use a face-lift...

The price point on this hotel is decent and it's location is also good. The hotel is dated and the rooms are smallish. The wi-fi, though free, is horribly slow. I ended up tethering to my phone instead. The water in the tub didn't drain so as we used the shower the tub filled - not cool. Parking is outrageous...

It is definetly below the Canadian standards. Old furniture, dusty carpet, lack of basic needs in room. I wonder how they make reservation of rooms without wardrope. Even late check in, reported room ready. But very dirty. I don't think to stay again for future. Think, think, think againnn if you want to keep good feelings about Kingston.

Parking was ridiculous You can't park truck on site therefore you have to park across the street. We got a parking ticket even though we were able to fix this it was frustrating. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. Poor food choices and tasteless McDonalds would have been more satisfying. The staff I believe are taught right away to deflect about all...

The staff at the front desk were rude and very unfriendly. Rooms were very dirty and alcohol bottles were along the hallways. Stained floors and wallpaper is peeling off. I had to be removed due to my bed having many stains. The pictures you see are NOT what you get. I can't stress to you how much I do not...

I was here for two nights during a business trip to Kingston. The location is excellent but everything else is not. The front of the hotel is not accessible and if you are disabled, the ramp is at the back of the hotel so it is very inconvenient. The hotel staff are not trained to be customer serviced oriented and...
