From the minute I stepped through the door I knew this was special. We were met by Barry how took us through the rooms downstairs and gave us some of the history and then he took us to our suite which was just fabulous. The attention to detail at the Frontenac Inn is stunning, everything from the period furniture which...

The Frontenac Club is a bit of a splurge for us, but it's worth it. This is the third visit we've spent there (first for graduation, then our honeymoon, then "babymoon"), and it never disappoints. The building itself is gorgeous and full of history and quirks (e.g. self-serve tea and coffee in a bank vault). The rooms are all stunning:...

We stayed at the Frontenac Club Inn for 2 nights at the end of August. By way of background, we generally do not like “Inn” and “B&B” type places, and prefer higher end modern facilities. However we booked the FCI because it was all that was available on a very busy weekend in Kingston. Pros: - Location - very close...

Thank you for sharing your complaints by email, we're sorry that your stay was not satisfactory. The Inn is a designated heritage building and all exterior changes require permission from the heritage committee to proceed. We appreciate their support and direction and are pleased to work with them. As requested, we repaired all of the windows, with original interior shutters,...

We stayed in the Gordon Suite (a few steps away from the main house in the former clubhouse). This wonderful suite was more like a small apartment (apparently, it actually was in former years). Upon arriving we were given a tour of the house and facilities by Barry who answered any questions we had and was very helpful. The Suite...

My wife and I spent a night at the Frontenac Inn. The staff are wonderful, informative and most helpful. The breakfast was very good and unlike some B&Bs, there were multiple dishes from which to choose. The inn is cozy and comfortably furnished. The room (we were in #9) was spacious and had a large bathroom. The room was clean...

We have stayed here more than once, and it's a consistently wonderful experience. The location is perfect and convenient, the building is full of historic charm, the staff are so very friendly and not rushed, and the food is truly unique and delicious.

My husband and I stayed at Frontenac for 1 night before departing on our kayak adventure to 1000 Islands. And what a wonderful stay it was! The innkeeper welcomed us upon our arrival and showed us around the historical property. Our room (Fleming) which was located on the third floor was clean, well-appointed and nicely decorated. The BnB has kept...

We came in for a school reunion which happened to be on a very busy weekend. Staff and the owners were very accommodating and friendly. The inn is perfectly located near town and Queens university. Lovely historical buildings. We stayed in the cook suite which was huge. Large bathroom and shower. Small patio and view of the lake. Breakfast was...

Stayed there a night to visit Kingston. Amazing hospitality, great and cozy and charming rooms, fabulous service. You can day the owner renovated with a lot of love. We'll definately come back. Don't forget to ask the manager about the place's history!!

The Frontenac Club Inn is a lovely, quaint inn with lots of charm and history. A very pleasant change from traditional "hotel" accommodations and the location in downtown Kingston is perfect. While they boast a "full service" breakfast, we did not find that to be the case. When we arrived in the dining area just before 8:00 a.m., we sipped...

Thank you for your comments. We do appreciate hearing from our guests. We listen, review the current situation and make changes when required. We have reviewed your issues with our staff and they requested that on their behalf, I pass on their sincere apologies as do my husband & I. We have now added an additional staff person to assist...
