So long as you have a falls view you should be okay. If there is a problem the hotel can usually upgrade you on the day if it is not high summer or school holidays. The hotel takes no responsibility for what agents actually book. Our agent booked us into the cheapest room possible at the back with no view. There was no joy on the phone either. On the day, however it was only $25 to upgrade to a full fantastic view with queen-size bed.
Join the hotel club rewards program. It is free. We did this and ended up with free valet parking. Other than that I am not sure It is right on Clifton Hill so any overnight parking nearby will cost you
