Julie and Bob were so welcoming, friendly and super helpful from the moment we arrived. The B&B is conveniently located in Niagara-on-the-Lake and was easy to find. There is lots of common space at the Brass Bell, including a fridge to store wine or grab a soft drink. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty - and we were able... More

Bob and Julie Bonnell are awesome hosts. Upon arrival they will ask if you have any dietary issues and give you a tour of the bnb. Bob will take your luggage to your room. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean, as is your room. A TV is provided. The mattress and bedding are in excellent condition. My husband... More

We spent our 35th anniversary at the Brass Bell and were treated like family guests rather than business associates from the time we walked in the door. The ambiance of the home and the room was wonderful and welcoming. the decor was exquisite. I was amazed at the attention to detail in the bathroom. The decor was lovely but more... More

We stayed at the brass Bell for just one night on June 21. Great place, excellent hosts and a very comfortable bed. Can't say enough about the breakfast and were given the remaining chocolate chip muffins to take home. Glass of wine with friends in the back yard was peaceful. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the... More

We four came from two states and were very pleased with our 2-night stay at the Brass Bell. We felt like family with Bob and Julie and appreciated their tips on sightseeing, dining suggestions and even coupons! Breakfasts were a feast for the eyes and so delicious. This was a really great “Home Port” while we visited with family, one of whom was working at The Shaw Festival. We were pampered for almost a week and were treated to a different delicious breakfast each morning. There was pleasant conversation with both the other guests, and our hosts around the table. We enjoyed a comfortable bed, relaxing sitting... More

We went down with some other couples for a wine tasting weekend, and three couples in our group booked all three rooms here. The hosts were extremely pleasant and acomodating, the B&B was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was amazing! We would happily stay there again. Thank you so much Bob and Julie!

We are close to many of the area’s amenities -- restaurants, theatres, shopping, golf, wineries and Niagara Falls’ attractions. Built in the latter part of the last century, The Brass Bell Bed & Breakfast is named after the ship's bell of sea-going vessels, Thus the decor is a mix of contemporary and traditional styles with a light nautical touch (Bob is a retired Navy Commander). Our beautifully appointed rooms all have ensuite bathrooms, two have four-poster queen-sized beds and one has a king-sized sleigh bed. ... more   less
