I am a former hotel General Manager, so I realize that I am particular, BUT we've read so many wonderful things about this place, we decided to try it. We have been to Niagara on the Lake many times, but never stayed at this facility. We were greeted by front desk staff and upgraded to a larger room (mid-week winter).- Thank...

Very romantic, with lots of old world charm. The staff is extremely accommodating and very courteous. We enjoyed a spotlessly clean, spacious room in the main hotel. Easy drive from NW PA. The bar, Escabeche, is a cozy spot for cocktails and good conversation. The fireplace is warm and inviting after a day of exploring the many wineries and historical...

This was our first time at this hotel and it was right up our alley. It's nice to stay at a classic hotel instead of a high rise for a change. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the elegance was top notch. Our room had a large four poster bed, a fireplace and a large balcony. The red...

Very nice old hotel in the heart of Niagara on the lake. Our room was lovely. They had oranges in the room for us which were great after an afternoon of wine tasting!! Turn down came with a rose, how sweet! We had a beautiful breakfast for 6 of us! I would return! Beautiful in the winter but summer with...

We stayed for 2 nights with friends and had a blast. We were driven to and picked up from our dinners out at no extra charge. The front desk was over the top nice and not in a fake way. Our room was opulent, extremely comfortable, so nice and quiet even though our windows were facing the road, something you...

The last time we stayed at the Prince of Wales hotel was 14 years ago, so we were really looking forward to returning to a place that held such fond memories for us, and enjoying some great food and relaxation over the Family Day long weekend. I booked directly through the Vintage Hotels website, choosing the two-night escape package that...

If I could give more than five stars to this lovely hotel, I would. We had been admiring the hotel since we first saw it. When we saw a Travelzoo deal we jumped at the chance of staying for a night in a premium suite! I've read reviews saying you should request the main building. We saw that tip a...

Special recognition to our hostess Lily. We are so lucky that we live close by in St.Catharines that we don't have to travel far to go there...

Great hotel.....excellent service, interesting, unique rooms. Awesome location too. We went for my mother's 80th birthday. Easy to get around the hotel, easy access for older folks, and delish food for breakfast. Lovely restoration. You feel like you've gone back in time. It's experiential.

Every second in that place was heaven. The history, decor, helpful staff. The restaurants are sublime. Their high tea in the drawing room is a definite must. The Spa is beautiful. It's right in the heart of town so if you don't drive, it's the perfect place for a walking vacation. Steps to the lake too. Lots of history within...
