My wife and I enjoyed a great trip to Niagara on the Lake in Canada and stayed at the Moffat Inn from October 4, 2016 to October 11, 2016. One of the important things that made our experience so memorable was Javaid at the front desk. Not only was he very professional in his manner, but he took time to... More

Yes we had to climb stairs, but for a hotel build in 1835 this is a great place to stay. The bathroom was updated and had a great shower. The service we received at the front desk was excellent - we were shown to our room and he supplied us with clean wine glasses to go with our cider that... More

We had the pleasure of staying in two rooms during our two night stay at the Moffat Inn. Unfortunately we were greeted with no hot water on Sunday morning. Although the Inn provided us with an upgraded room, i am not sure why we were in the original room to begin with. When chatting with other guests we learned there... More

Niagara-on-the-Lake is an expensive place to stay and dine, but because we attend the Shaw Festival, the Moffat Inn has long been our first (and almost only) choice for overnighting. We have stayed elsewhere only when the Moffat was sold out. We cheerfully tolerated its quirky shortcomings when it was family-owned, but wonder how the large Vintage Hotels group can... More

This hotel was nice and reasonably priced for Niagara on the Lake. However, it was a little worn around the edges. The furniture seemed a bit dated and the deck was in need of repair. Would stay there again.

Beautiful little hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, within walking distance of all restaurants, shops and theatres. Parking very easy at the back. "All you can eat" breakfast at the restaurant of the hotel next door was a little disappointing - overcooked scrambled eggs and no toast though we could have eaten "a la carte" and paid extra. Room very clean and pleasant... More

Very convenient. Walking distance to all the shops and theater. Free parking avoids paying on the street. Just wish I knew they were affiliated with two other hotels in the area that allowed you to use their pools and facilities! Would definately stay here again

This Inn is very .... very... nostalgia. The community reminds you of a picture from a old post card. We were greeted by a very pleasant Inn Keeper by the name of Javeed. We were checked in with no issues - there is no elevator so a flight up to the room was not too bad. (I have this one... More

We checked in at the Moffat Inn for a 5-night stay and were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk, who gave us directions to our room. She told us that they did not have a restaurant on the premises, but we could buy a package to have breakfast at the hotel next door for $18 per person. Since we... More

Great parking, friendly staff, very clean overall and a simple, but a nice room. Close to nearby shopping, orchards, vineyards, and historical sites. Unless you need the pomp of neighbouring hotels, I'd totally recommend it.
